Oh jeez, excessive cheese mishaps. That reminds me of how sometimes I get way too much sauce put on my sandwich from x-fast-food-place. I kind of hate fast food in general but the food-colored grease doesn't help.

Just last night I was eating cubes of cheese with white wine. Do we mean to imply that there are people who couldn't just bite into a wedge of cheese without ill repercussions?

I would probably join you for your cheeseparty, but there are some people who just don't like it. I know, because I'm related to a few of them. And not all of them are lactose-intolerant.

I love cheese, but I can only have so much before I lose my appetite for it for a while. It really is a pretty rich, high-calorie food, and it needs some things to balance it. Or my body needs time to recover between cheese binges. Either way.

I really like cheese, but too much and the salt gets to me.

I just genuinely dislike it in anything more than a small quantity, infrequently eaten.  I'm not intolerant, either.

Oh, you're intolerant, just not in the digestive sense. :P

For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

Recent events and such have left me with very frayed nerves and something of a desire to throw myself off the nearest bridge...

I'm not sure how to fix this.

Staying away from bridges might be a good start. Maybe listen to whatever music you find relaxing?

It is called apathy, and it is the enemy. Remember it well, for failure to respond to its threat may destroy us all.

To be completely honest, this song was legitimately helpful during some of my depressive periods. It's actually a bit of an earworm, and constantly singing "Always look on the bright side of life" under my breath made it surprisingly difficult to contemplate doing anything really terrible.

It was recently brought to my attention that I'm not looking forward to anything. Sadly, it's true. I'm not and that's kinda.... I'm not sure of the exact word.

I don't really have many friends, my family and I have limited interaction, etc.

This is starting to mess with my personal and even work life, so maybe I should start having some goals that are merely things that I should look forward to as some sorta motivation....

Not exactly sad but..
Been to the dentist today to fix some teeth.
Have to go there again in a week or so.
Any way, the right side of my lower jaw is completely numb.
Is a weird feeling actually, the dentist reccomend I dont eat anything within 3-4 hours.
So.. gotta fight the hunger until then.
