I've always wondered why the chemtrail believers think the government would spray a visible chemical if they were doing something like this. There are plenty of compounds that are transparent or can be made transparent.

Those are the real chemtrails, sprayed by black invisible helicopters. The visible chemtrails from airplanes are fake to throw the non-sheeple off the scent. Everyone knows this, man.

I'm getting pretty good at rationalizing myself out of the pits of bitter listlessness and self-loathing I find myself in semi-regularly. This is a skill I wish I didn't have to have.

I'm still waiting for the moment when I finally beat depression. "Congratulations me, you survived! Despite your best efforts to drive you to give up and/or off yourself for the better part of 2 decades! You win!"

Like, seriously... can that be a thing?

Yes! With the help of medications plastic surgery medications, plastic surgery, and a streak of amazing luck for yourself and/or those around you!

But nope, just surround yourself with things you love. As for the moment, it'll be more of a 'hmm, I just remembered I used to be depressed all the time..Neat.'

What's made me sad today?
Watching the hours tick by as I procrastinate putting together two powerpoints, the first of which is due in...9 hours. Not like they're hard in any way, I've just got a chronic issue with getting started, and I'm more worried about putting together a good presentation for image than just getting them done for a grade.
Also: Entropy, though now I just put it out of my mind and pretend I don't feel it gnawing at my thoughts of the future.

Seriously.  If you feel like killing a few minutes and braincells, Google "chemtrails" and see just how deep the rabbit hole goes.

Conspiracy theorists make me sad, sometimes.

So does the "Ancient Aliens" program and their apparent utter ignorance of... Well, everything.

Both conspiracy theories and the History Channel, and it's ilk, are giving me a fair bit of grief lately. Not only do I keep bumping into people who want to talk with me about them, but my dad has got into watching "documentaries" online and wants to tell me about them. This wouldn't be so bad if he didn't get upset and angry with me if I voice dissent. He's actually told me he thinks it's unfair for me to look something up online if we disagree on a subject. Despite this he often asks me to look things up online and again gets angry with me for relaying any information that disagrees with what he's been told.

Maybe he's just trying to share stuff he finds cool, and you, you cruel cruel man, are dashing his hopes of father-son bonding upon rocks of non-plussitude.

-Try finding your own 'Good' documentaries and sending them his way- maybe he'll learn the difference on his own?

History channel should get around to renaming themselves.

Not sure how related, but started off my day on an incredibly bad note.  Woke up just as my wife was getting home.  Helped cook supper, ate, and went to work.  Didn't have time to do anything else because I unintentionally slept 9 hours.  It's intensely depressing to me when I don't have any time to myself between work days.  On top of that, my family did some things that really soured my mood and one comment laser-guided right for my rage button topped it all off.  So I showed up for work in a serious "fuck life this shit isn't worth it" sort of mood.  I plugged my ears with my angry playlist and channeled it into my work with a furious intensity for about an hour.  When that hour was over, I'd done about half a day's worth of productivity and was pretty much over it.  Been working at a relaxed pace and feeling ok (as ok as it's possible for me to feel while at work) the rest of the day.  This isn't too unusual for me.

Many conspiracy theories are silly if you think like the conspirers.
Like, if aliens are advanced enough to zap in and abduct you, why not clone humans to not leave any impact? S: Or just completely wipe your mind. Or frame an 'accident'.

Chemtrails: Invisible chemicals are what all the cool kids do. XD

I can't think of any more conspiracy theories. Help?

Uh... floride in the water helps keep the populous complacent. Governments are controlled by shadow governments. Moon landing was faked.  They're interesting to look into, if only because they tend to be quite imaginative. :P

The Earth is secretly hollow and filled with deranged, mechanically-inclined dwarves known as Deros. Also, various world leaders are secretly lizard people, who may also originate from the hollow Earth.

Today in my sadness: Missing my mum. Missing how good things used to be. Wishing I was stronger and didn't feel so broken and defeated all the time. But it's whatever. Saying I'm a sad sack helps me cope so just ignore this. I don't like being old. :'[ Ugh.
