I've done the same thing, only with roasting marshmallows and Disgaea: Hour of Darkness.

Smell is a sense closely associated with memory, so it's not really surprising.

But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

I have certain games associated with certain albums and/or songs, mostly because they'd be on repeat while I played or they were all over the radio at the time.

System Shock 2 -> Soundgarden's Superunknown
TIE Fighter -> No Doubt's Tragic Kingdom
Shadowcaster -> Corrosion of Conformity's Deliverance
original Pool of Radiance -> whole host of mid-late 80s pop music

Still no functional linux build of Torchlight. Or rather, STILL HEADLESS LINUX BUILDS.

It's a funny bug but it gets old after a while

What is the point of having a weekly cleaning schedule if you aren't allowed to make things dirty?

Female roommates (housemate?). Never. Again.

Don't generalize, man. There are plenty of filthy girls.

I'm not going to know any potential roommate well enough to not generalize.

Yeah, I've not had much luck with female roommates for the opposite reason. They always leave the toilet lid up, and the showers dirty, and none of them ever want to do dishes. Bluh!

Female roommates?  Ill do laundry, theyll do dishes.  Ill mop floor and clean bathroom, theyll not pink the place up.  And no sex outside your own room, shower and patio included.

Hell I wouldn't agree to those terms. At least the shower. I can understand staying off the couch though.

Clean up after you're done and give some warning, so I can be somewhere else. That's all I ask. Generalizes to most potential irritations roomies can come up with, honestly.

Is a sock or tie on the door enough?  Sometimes things just... present themselves.  And Thursday-Saturday night should be self explanitory.

Heh. I was going to go scope out a few suburbs for potential rentals for next year... but one couldn't make it, and another got a tummy bug as freakin' always. It wouldn't be productive with two of us, neither of us driving.

Oh well. Next week I guess.

And the ever lovin' slog of trying to find a job. :X

In other news, my friend got a dog hair splinter in her eardrum.  It turns out that it's possible for a dog hair to worm its way into your skin like a splinter, but flexible and sometimes like two or three inches long.  I'm sad that we live in a world where shit like that is possible.
sure it wasent moving on its own? and how the hell do you get 3 inches if dog hair in the eardrum,?

Bleh. Six hour+ road trip starting tomorrow at seven in th'morning, it's 11 pm now and trying to sleep is giving me a headache. As in, literally -- closing my eyes and trying to rest is causing a massive pounding pain in my skull, that's not really there (or at least much, much less acute) when my eyes are open and I'm not trying to rest. Kinda' sucks, especially as I'm tired to boot.

Times like this that make me want to strangle people who present the proposition of a creator deity as true. Bastard thing's either incompetent or sadistic, and it's rare that either of those qualities gets assigned to the thing.
