I bet it involves magma.

Or skinning me and making mittens.

Okay, so, today this girl I know-Lauren, just took a sudden dis-interest in talking to me. Is she just on her period or something?

We do not promote sadness, or whining, we vie for interesting irritations and general advice from people who can't solve their own problems.

You should post happy thoughts, but not in this thread. I guess. Whatever

Actually, the back door of the sad thread just leads to the happy thread... but whatever.

It's not even a back door, it's more like a revolving door.

Vector being lonely makes me sad. Sweet angst of the youthful should be treasured, not despised. There'll be plenty time for it when she's older.

Armok being desperate makes me sad too. Too much angst is not very healthy either. If he'll go bonkers now, what will he do with his time when he's older?

He'll never leave this forum.  Slaves to Armok 3: Dwarf Space Station will be out and he'll still be sitting here hugging people.

I've recently been reminded very strongly that I'm a bachelor. And that sucks. So I thought I'd watch something to take my mind off of it. Oh, hey, Ghost in the Shell. Heard that was good.

Cue gratuitous fanservice.

MY LIFE IS A DELICIOUS PIE OF IRONIC SITUATIONS.

I loathe fanservice with a fucking passion.  It's the reason I've rejected almost every single anime that friends have tried to get me into.  That said, GITS is worth it.

(also Planetes has basically zero fanservice and is incidentally the hardest sci-fi that anyone could wish for)
