It's not that they are among us, it's that we are among them.

Ah, but gods do walk the Earth. And we are them.

Think what humanity can do. Level cities in a single blow. Fly down from the sky and save those in need. Talk instantaneously across the world.

Sure, we don't have any ice giants to fight, and the Ragnaroks we would fight would fucking suck, but if you want a dash of magic in your life just turn on your mystical computational box and have wonders meet your eyes.

Good point. Although this would more go in the happy thread. But still, think of what we can do fom the perspective of something very, very small. Thanks, kaijyuu.

My mind appears to be locked into 'immediate satisfaction' mode. I honestly can never hand in an assignment on time. The only time I work is when I'm Past a deadline, and it is awesome stuff- just with a 20% hit to my mark. I just can't figure out what'll fix me- barring the obvious of Ritalin.

Yeah, he's a banned spammer. Normally we'd delete this thread too, but people were having too much fun with it by the time we got here.

My mother is in the hospital because of severe bronchitis issues. They put her on a nebuliser and it looks like she's going to be ok, but god damn it this stuff is going to kill her one day.

I seem to be way more upset about this than I should be... my hands are shaking right now.

Eep. She a smoker?

EDIT: My sad. Sudden bout of loneliness. Could REALLY use a date.

At least I'm not as in the dumps as I was yesterday (thanks again for those e-hugs :D).
