It had something to do with being condescended to as if I were a witless child.
I thought you wanted an answer to your question, and I could provide one, so I did. Most people ask serious questions in this thread, ones that they want answers to. I'm sorry if I offended you; my intention was only to help.

Don't tell anyone that you can see their shadows. If they hear you telling anyone, if you let them know that you know of them, they will get you.

You must really hate being called "Honor." I must make a note of it...

I'm not really bothered, I'm just not used to it. Imagine if you're a guy named Robert and everyone calls you Rob for short, but then one day someone you meet starts calling you Bob. It'd be weird.

I remember in IRC everyone called me penguino for some reason. Those were good times.

That actually sounds pretty good, but somehow I suspect my family would turn it's nose up at that.

I want to be able to cook a meal that will cut out meat, which is difficult because my family basically has a policy of "if it doesn't contain meat it's not a proper dinner".

I also want to cut down on fat and salt if I can because my father has some serious blood health issues, and chances are strong that I may have the same blood health issues later in life.

Sweet and sour tofu in either brown rice or boiled quinoa.

It's getting to me more than I thought it would.  I didn't know her all that well.  Best friend moved to Atlanta to be with her, and we only got to mingle during visits.  She was pretty cool, though.  She suffered generally bad health her whole life, though, and always struggled with depression.  I spent the first couple hours at work listening to music and reflecting, but I had to spend some time in a bathroom stall composing myself after this song.  As much as I wanted to indulge my sentimentality and get it all out of my system, I couldn't afford to be a total mess at work all day.  No more music for me right now :/

The really horrible part is they have a 1 year old kid.  He's seriously the happiest, most energetic toddler I've ever known.  Something about the pregnancy and birth just pushed her over the edge, though.  Her health further deteriorated and she's been severely emotionally unstable over the past year.  She's flown into fits of rage, tried to put their kid up for adoption, and told him he should divorce her and find somebody else because he deserves someone less messed up.  It's not shocking at all that she killed herself, but even so, the act itself is so unpredictable and you can never be prepared for it...

Edit:  She was declared braindead a couple hours ago, btw.

I'd say if your friend needs the support, travel to him. He'll need someone to be a shoulder to lean on.
