That's a good idea.

The two closest lakes to me are Aura Vale lake, which is not recommended for swimming because of algae levels, and Lysterfield Lake, which has receded to a point where the tangling river reeds can snag me easily.

I think if on Sunday or on next friday, I just catch a bus up to the Dandenong Ranges, I'll go walking in Sherbrooke Forest. That's always been my happy place.

I was considering Churchill Park but that's dangerous at some times of year because of the mobs of kangaroos living there. For best safety there you go in twos, and pick up a heavy stick to use as a club to frighten them off if they become too angry.

Sherbrooke Forest and similar areas? The only danger really is slipping over.

The dust gets hurt, but doesn't mind. Turns out when you're sitting there for what amounts to aeons, you end up a little kinky. It helps that the world is basically a rolling slurry of dust orgies, all day erry day.
