There's a too far point. That was it. Delete that, and go put it in the "Demon rat?" Post.

Our school's "Muckup day" got put onto a podcast. They had heaps of photos of us with our uniforms ripped to shreds.

Our headmaster isn't happy with the publicity.

This is why for muck-up day you need to stick to the simple classics, like draining the pool and relocating the principles car into it; funny, but no actual damage.

Oh we had the whole thing going. We all wore our grade-eight clothes, and got them ripped up - everyone ripped the pockets off everyone elses uniform shirts, and then a friend and I collected them all and made them into a flag. I climbed a tree instead of going to maths class and sat dropping nerds(the confectionary) onto kids walking underneath.

And heaps, heaps more. Including the gigantic thirty-minute waterbomb fight after school.

Don't know why I'm posting this here, but it's relevant.

Bah, juveniles. We dissasembled the principle's car and reassembled it (in working condition) 4 flights of stairs up in his reception area. Then we still had 3 hours of darkness left, so we drained the pools and stuck whatever cars we could find in other nearby houses inside said pools. We ended up with seven cars in those pools if memory serves.

If you're going to do a muck-up day, do it properly; do something that should, by all rights, be impossible. (They never worked out how we got the car up there. Tee Hee.)

Kinda silly, but still:

I got home today, after my 5th 10 hour day this week, and notice that among the piles of dirty dishes in the sink, there are the clear signs that pudding had been made that night.

Delicious pudding.

So, starving and in need of a chocolate fix, I open the fridge.

To find no pudding at all.

Oh, it was made, and all of it eaten, leaving nothing for me but the dirty dishes to clean up.

I cleaned up the dishes, as I'm the one who'll be yelled at for not cleaning them, even though the sink was empty (by me) before I went to work.

Maybe I'm going overboard feeling this depressed over something like that, but it's not the pudding in and of itself, it's the fact that neither of them even thought about me while they made and ate it, after eating the dinner I had prepared for them.

I'm not a person to them, I'm a fucking thing, a tool to do work.  Nothing more.

My grandmother has just been taken into hospital.

Well, now my post looks twice as stupid.

Anyway, best wishes and all.

What? You mean rumors spread by "People"?

A singular person is usually an intelligent and rational being (there are exceptions.)

Gather a bunch of persons however, and they become "The People" a mindless rabid mass of degenerate idiots bent on chaotic destruction and anarchic dissolution.

Persons are fine, People suck. People are why Dubya.

Worst part is, if you ever go trying to find this "The People", all you'll find are a bunch of Persons; they only turn into The People when you're not looking.

One person is an individual. Many are a statistic. In Asimov's Foundation series, this is extrapolated to the ability to predict the future of a large enough group(In this case trillion(s), but the math is refined to be more accurate with smaller numbers over the generations of the series).
