Now it's more widely known as... well, just a term. 4chanfag. newfag. warcraftfag. etc.
The 4chan definition shouldn't be the more widely known though. And it isn't. And if you're going to use it, use it correctly, I mean, I'm offended at this point for the word abuse.
#There's no such thing as a 4chanfag.
Well the fact that I was actually speaking in context of a 15th century country in a video game in a non-insultive manner,
I was using it in the modern slang of it.
Now it's more widely known as... well, just a term. 4chanfag. newfag. warcraftfag. etc.
Contradiction? I've never seen it used like that without being insulting.
Unless the person you were talking to was your buddy or something, and you're the type of friends that insult each other for giggles rather than malice.
Looks like I'm going to have to step in then.
Explanation : The 4chan definition literally covers groups of people, nothing more. In context fag doesn't even refer to homosexuals at all. If someone refers to themself as such a way on 4chan they call themself a lesfag or gayfag. It isn't even meant in an insulting way, and if it is, there's no one to insult, it carries no meaning when you're insulting an anon. Which is why fag became colloquial and the equivalent of saying someone's name (when no name exists). But when you're not anon, it doesn't work the same way. There's a reason why there's #1 and #2
Internet is SRS BSNS. Don't mess with terms you don't understand. It's the cancer of the internet.
