Turns head to the side a bit. *CRACK*. Suddenly, I feel like warmth is pooling up at the back of my neck. This can't be good.

Happens to me all the time. Unless it persists for a while, you become light-headed, the area becomes swollen, or you have other reason to believe something weird happened, I wouldn't worry too much. I've no fucking clue what causes it, though, and it's pretty unpleasant. It's probably a nerve thing, though.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Take an ibuprofen. You probably have a mildly swollen vertebra in your neck. That happens to me once in a while. If it doesn't go away soon, get your ass to a doctor. Srsly.

Truean is not a lawyer.
Truen is the John
Oh.  Well then, Truean, what is it exactly that you do?  I always just assumed that he was a lawyer or worked very closely with court room law.

They're too kind.

Often much to my dismay, I am a lawyer. I think he means this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_the_Baptist#Death, in reference to the "do not shoot the messenger," bit. :P Hence  a large reason for the jadedness on my part.
Actually for some weird reason the post got cut off... It's only just now that I've gotten access to the internet again and realized it happened.

Since the next line in the post that was supposed to be there was rather unimaginative, I'm just going to leave it to your imagination what I wanted to say Truean really was (unfortunately it was not "the bat", I'm not badass enough to say that).

There are no bagels. There be only waffles and not-waffles.

Eat fewer waffles and more notwaffles.

Or eat an antiwaffle to feel less full and get an enormous boost of energy.

Pass me the un-syrup, these Not-waffles are kind of dry.

Xanatos... Or Yoink. Either way, whoever it was must've built a time machine and gone back to poison every waffle I've ever eaten.

In other words, they must be collaborating!

@Truean - It doesn't exactly scream trustability, but if it gets some of the assess of your back, I'd go for it. Wouldn't they still be able to get your number rather easily if they tried, though? Or perhaps that little time window is enough for the enough of the anger to recede so they don't make the rage-calls. But if you use it against them in court, wouldn't that just make your job harder? ;)
