I never think about things before or after I say them, consequences be damned.

Wasted a few hours playing Devil Survivor 2. It was fun, but I should really have been doing something more productive.

I tend to get that feeling after it's posted.
eeeeeeee... D: That usually only happens to me in person. I wish you could edit vocalizations.
That would save me so much trouble in life.

I'd settle for a quicksave and quickload button. Going into a job interview? Quicksave! Accidentally sneeze on the manager? Quickload!

... how would you prevent yourself from sneezing on the manager if you went back to the exact starting point from before? Without means or reason to change the variables, it'll play out exactly the same, heh.

No, no, you want quicksave, quickload, and a note function. Shame about how quickly it'd break all forms of gambling, though.

Easy. If I knew the sneeze was coming, I'd be able to excuse myself and use a kleenex instead.
(I'm assuming here that I'd remember what happened before I loaded)

So apparently they rescheduled me arbitrarily to work one of the two shifts I'm physically incapable of working right now, because it is impossible to get a finger brace under latex gloves. You'd think the incident with the razor would've taught me a lesson about saying, "Welp, looks like I'm in the clear, guess I dodged a bullet there", but no. So now I've had to send the first email to a supervisor saying, "Yeah, no, I'm sorry, but that can't actually happen."

“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

If everyone had a quicksave and quickload button, things would spiral out of control. People would keep rewinding their lives just to set things up to win at various things.

Didn't get that job? Go back and ambush the the guy who did so he can't get to his interview.
Get ambushed by said guy? Go back in time and pop his car's tires.
And so on and so on, until everyone's 5 years old having fist fights on the interstate.

They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

Which is why not everyone would have a qs/ql function. Just me :P

... the one person to have a quickload function? And only a single save slot, hrm?

Well, I guess that isn't too bad. You'd eventually unknowingly save after a point of no return :P

Seriously though save about a week or month back, diligently track stock prices, load, invest, repeat on a weekly/monthly basis.

Decade or two later, total monetary control of the world.

Job interview. Heh.

Never map your quicksave trigger thought to "Mmm, ham sandwich..."

Bad / sloppy game design they give us. Quicksave should have 2-3 revolving slots.
