Had something like that a month ago. Not pretty.

Gotta get the shit out of your system though, literally and figuratively.

Most cats are lactose intolerant. It's amazing how many people don't know this.

For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

Blame popular media/culture. Cats are ALWAYS portrayed drinking milk or cream. When I first got my cat (6 years old at the time), I tried to give her some milk and the results weren't pretty. Thankfully I wised up and Suzy went on for another 19 years.

Wisdom teeth pulled. It doesn't actually hurt too bad, unless I sneeze; but then again, heavy pain meds are probably helping with that.

And then, every time I sneeze, I worry that the stitches holding my gums together are going to come off and that there will be blood, blood everywhere.

That and I can only eat things that are either soft or cut into smaller pieces than you could get if you shoved it into a woodchipper.

My mom is going to have Major Surgery in a few hours, I know nothing bad will happen it's just that she'll be unable to really do anything for a month or two.

People make no logical sense to me. I went out on a date with a guy and he showed me a nice time and actually seemed like he was a decent person. He told me he was divorced, which I thought was a bit odd, because that means he had a wife.... Alright, I can deal with that, fine. He was like 30 or so and I guess there's a lot of pressure to be straight so....

Except he isn't divorced; he's still married. :( Turns out he's from a different state so I didn't think to check the docket there because I did not know this at the time.... It isn't even like they're separated; they still live together and moved here recently. Why?

I am not capable of understanding why people do this. The GLBT thing adds a twist to it, but this happens all the time. People are just never satisfied and that doesn't make a bit of sense to me. Really? No matter what we're talking about, enough is just never enough. Somehow this even applies to stuff like being with someone romantically. People just get "used to it" somehow. Used to what? That thing that you're used to, someone else would kill for that. So he just ... cheats on her and however I fit into this whole mess.... [sigh] I'm glad I found out really really soon into it, but just.... ???.

Man, I'm hungry as hell, but the airport food here is overpriced to oblivion.

@Truean: Fun fact, in japan, it's not considered cheating if it's gay.

It's also because cats are stupid and even though they are intolerant still love all kinds of milk products. And I guess if they work like humans in this regard, I guess they have less chance of losing their tolerance if they keep drinking it regularly once they grow out of kittenhood?

Anyway, if you want to give them something milkish, give them yoghurt or sourmilk or some other product very the lactose has been done away with. They'll usually be all over that stuff as long as it smells of milk.

It is 10:44 at night, and I just realised, I have only had two cups of tea to drink today, and nothing else, no food at all, and I don't even feel hungry... That is never a good sign.

Ugh, I'd love to buy this grammar of Koasati, but I'm not sure if I can just shell out $35 like that.

@Footjob, you can microwave most grains I've tried pretty easily through the microwave, even if they aren't packaged for it.

Blarg. Now I have to decide between perfect house with smaller property and inconvenient location, and less perfect house with larger property and better location.

Sigh, grown up problems.

I think one can deal with imperfection if it gets you other benefits.

Unless it's right beside a junkyard or something.

Its closer to work, it has a view of the gulf (if I stand at the end of the driveway), the property is nearly twice the size, and it is slightly cheaper.

Its flaws are that it will be cramped vs the spaciousness of the other house, its appliances are older, ill need to put in new floors and due to the types of available mortgages for that location I'll need a larger down payment.

Truean, it sucks that he lied to, that's for sure.

Though I can admittedly understand how things work from his side, as far as desires go and my own tendencies.

Anyway, I think, like has been mentioned, that much like people cats need milk semi-regularly to keep their tolerance up. Also, that some breeds are far less intolerant than others.

Indeed. I'm pretty certain the farm-cats I used to see flocking around the barns around here every time the milk-wagon showed up (because they always got their own bowl, of course) couldn't have been very intolerant, or they would have died from constant diarrhoea (really? That's how you want me to spell it, FireFox?).

Personally I'm very relieved you've found somewhere, though. You've had us worried.
