I did realize. That was the joke. :P
I just thought someone might've thought I was linking to some friend of me which would've been a bit more bizarre. Not that I have any friends, but still.

Yeah, I don't really mind people knowing the general area in which I live. I know if I posted an address or a phone number there would be people who would send me weird packages or prank call me just for lulz, but I honestly doubt I've given anyone reason to go to great lengths to try and track me down.

Mind you, if someone did track me down I'd be pretty damn impressed.

I'll give you guys a clue... I live in a huge mansion on a hill in the middle of a desert with pine trees on the front lawn (which is naturally gigantic) behind a three ringed electric fence with "Beware of Ninja Kitty" signs on it.

One of those things I just said was true, the rest wasn't.

My grandmother died today.

Sorry for your loss.

Mine has been dieing for a long time. Suffering. Seeing her like that tears my up inside. I am hoping that when it finally happens, it will be a relief. But I don't know if it will be.

Yeah, mine was a heavy smoker for about 70 years. By the end she was going into oxygen deprivation from walking five feet. At least she died in her sleep, and she's in a better place now.

I have a framed, handwritten Amish copy of the US Constitution at work. Came in, saw glass was missing. The carpet is also really clean for the first time in a long time (I stay late often; the cleaning crews don't really come by as much as they are supposed to in the lease and when they do, it's kinda a shoddy job).

I wonder what happened.... [sigh]

You can have a clean carpet or intact wall art, but not both.

Meh, things happen I guess. Part of the parchment is a little ripped.... I think I might be able to hide that in the frame though, if nothing else.

Lack of car maintinence caught up to me.  At least it just yelled tag and ran away instead of punching me in the face though.

Car won't shift into reverse.  Or at least it doesn't move when I rev the engine in that gear.   A little bit of research shows I either killed my transmission or I need transmission fluid.   Since I don't hear anything that is apperantly the sound of a transmission slipping I think I just need fluid.   I knew I needed fluid for a while but never got around to getting any.

(2 hours after first part was written) Got called by my boss while I was writing this post. He already knew I was having car trouble and was fine with it, but one of our Managed Service Clients went completely down, he asked me if I could barrow somebody's car to get down there and fix it. (he can't drive due to a vision issue)  So I ended up walking to my mom's work to barrow her car and went down to the client's place and fixed their problem.  (their ISP's modem needed reset after a power failure. derp.)

But what bugs me most about this is that I ended up depending on my parents again.  I was perfectly capable of solving my car trouble without help for once in my life and was getting ready to walk down to the auto shop to pick up what I needed, when life conspired to make me ask for help anyway.   Meh.  At least the car works now, simple fix.

Chances are she doesn't want to go on this arranged date any more than you do, thus you can go not expecting anything,  make jokes about how annoying her father is, and maybe make a friend out of it.

That's the worst part. She wants this! We've talked. Or rather she talked and I prayed she'd contract lockjaw. I baited her by spending a few minutes talking about hanging out with a friend of mine who is a girl. Her response fell exactly where I feared.

"So is that you're giiirlfriiiend?"

[Shivers, screams inside cause she knew I didn't have a girlfriend so can't use that one and also why is she asking when she knows the answer...?]

This is the problem with rich people. They get whatever they want and when they don't, then make other people's lives hell.... I can totally see her whining to daddy on this one, can't you?

Power, stupidity, and greed. Add some expired sugar on top and you've got a bitch cupcake.
"So is that you're giiirlfriiiend?"
"you're giiirlfriiiend?"
you're

You've made me sad, Truean.
