3. Related: I suddenly wanna watch MacGyver.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
I'm pretty sure that sentiment was in response to that picture.

On the subject of Macgyver, this is what I was always thinking when I watched the show.

Woops!

Not only was Metal Gear Solid: Rising changed to Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance (That's not even a fucking word, come on), but they canceled the PC version.

Buuuuullshiiiiit.

It's like this every time a cool game about choppin' shit up shows up.  First Dark Souls (Though they might be porting it soon, considering the petitions), then Dragon's Dogma (Again, not officially for PC but they've hinted that they'll consider it if we cry loud enough), and now this, with no petition hints.

Also, FutureMark had me all excited about a cool new game about UFOs, then they release yet another tower defense.  Come on guys, don't we have enough of those?  I expected more from them.

Boy, it's a good thing I get my Metal Gear fix through LPs instead of playing them myself, because otherwise I'd be like Fuck You Kojima.

I was just reminded of the fact that I don't own a copy of Rocky Horror Picture Show :(

And is it incredibly depressing to anyone else that Tim Curry is 65 years old?

I'll bet he's just trolling the gamers because Konami won't let him put out a movie.

SO FUCKING ANGRY

I was... really looking forward to being able to play that game (it was going to be the big prize I'd buy myself for this semester's hard work).  Now it, too, is on the "wait until you're doing your PhD and you hate yourself" shelf.

I don't see what the big deal is. AFAIK, the other metal gear solids, except for one, were console only. Granted, the pc port of the first game is excellent.

The one for the second one is pretty good too. I'm told 2 is actually the best in the series. I've yet to try 4, so I don't know if that's true, but I know 3 could have been better.

I've played the first three. I don't recall any but the first game having a pc port is what I meant. 3 was far better than 2.

They set up my hopes and dashed them, is the reason.

What made me sad today wasn't anything too serious.

I shed Manly tears after finishing 999 on the DS. The true ending slapped me hard in the face, covering the other bad endings.

The family dog is dying. I found out earlier today, and I feel punched in the gut every time I pass her by. She's been with us over a decade, and we're putting her down early next week.
