In a "sit around and flip between games instead of going to bed and be completely aware of this mood" mood again. :\

I had to move a washing machine out, then another one in, then we moved it out and in while we balanced it out... for hours.

I strained my back, it was not fun.

EDIT:
... my set theory grader, was actually one of my closer acquaintances in the math department.  He was a goddamned brilliant student, too--much better than I was.

It wasn't that he worked particularly hard, it was that he got a good handle on things pretty quickly.

Frankly, he had no respect for mathematics as a discipline, or for professors in general.  The stereotypes didn't apply.  But he was good at achieving a basic understanding in general of the material.

Got a cold on my trip to Chicago last week. Which meant I had to fly back home with a cold on Friday. Now, I'm still sick and my ears still have not popped after the flight. This sucks.

I don't spend time with my family nearly often enough. Going to have to remedy this.

My mom just left.  I got to see my dad for a day or two and then he's going to be gone for probably another couple of months or something... I don't feel like I know him anymore.  He's been gone for more than a third of the past 10 years, and even when he was home he was hardly there.  He has friends in other countries who give him jars of homemade pickles and he got a medal thing, I think from the Russian government, for helping Russian-American foreign relations, and he brought me home Russian jam and novels and mugs, but he's only home for a week and then he's gone.

I want them back  :'(  Really, really want them back.

Goddamned burnout.  In the next week I have no fewer than 7 meetings, 600 pages to read, four pieces of homework left to write (one rhetoric, two math, one German), and two exams next week (in German), and then a three-day weekend... followed by another mathematics exam (multiple choice: "true statement, false statement, or nonsense").

Dunno what's wrong with me, but right now I just kind of generally feel like sitting down and crying for a few hours.  I'm too lonely, and I'm about to turn 22 feeling like half my heart is missing and curled up in the long-distant past.

Nope, he's an engineer.  Trust me.  He'd be a terrible spy.

Miss him =/

Our government is still suspicious of my father being one from Portugal. It's why they wouldn't let him have dual-citizenship.

It's not nearly as cool as one would think.
