Of course, he's still rake-thin, blond, rich, and CS-degree endowed, whereas I'm still short, vaguely chubby around the middle, kinda darkly Jewish-looking, temperamental, and about to get a degree for which no one will hire me with many, many B's (mostly because I took many, many honors courses, but hey!  Who gives a shit).
...And he's also a conscienceless pseudo-sociopat, going by what you've said here, so it doesn't matter what fault you find with yourself - you're a much better person than that arse could ever hope to be.

*knocks back*  Ex's unite.  Let's be bitter all night long.

I can agree with this, I will grab the rum...

Saw new pictures of my son today in his new Halloween out fit, he is going as a turtle. Brought back a lot of stuff that is making me quite sad...

Tons of errors on the errorlog, and I have to make this creature for my brother, who requested that it be finished today.

And we inevitably glance at the silver lining of the situation.

Reduce your education grief by a grade level or two and yeah, I know ya sis. General Education isn't even a thing but I don't know what else I could possibly want to do. At the very least it may be worth a few credits if I ever want to plunge myself even further in student loan debt.

On behalf of douchebags everywhere, I apologize for your ex's behavior, thus both accomplishing nothing and proving my credentials to belong in that group. (More seriously, though, may he one day be attacked by a live and very angry badger that decided to nest in his pants)

Also, I'd have just posted a picture of Vector to illustrate your point, ChairmanPoo >____>

“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Vector!
Grab your nearest friend who is an eligible partner and tell them, "You are now my significant other."
According to "The Essential Handbook of Victorian Etiquette - Revised Edition" they have no choice but to accept or be scandalized.

Well, that depends on what you mean by Significant Other. Technically it just means somebody who has influenced your life majorly with a connotation in our culture as ones romantic partner.

Your ex is still technically a significant other, but that just displays the broadness of the term and how it could be used in Pnx's suggestion.

If that's the case then I think perhaps this book needs serious revision, because the way it uses it is as a group-all term for boyfriend/girlfriend. Well, these are modern times after all.

As I said, there are cultural connotations for it to mean that. Treat it as a slang word that everyone uses.
