Nah, I only used a Q-tip after I stopped hearing to see if I had any earwax in my ear. I don't seem to have any earwax.

I ate a 1000-Year-Old Egg this evening, as a peace offering of sorts. It was difficult, to say the least. I can eat just about anything, honestly... but this was pushing my gastronomic boundaries well beyond comfort. For the first time in a long time the food I ate gagged me and made me want to vomit... and following that, what normally would have been a delicious homemade pizza with fresh wild mushrooms and fancy cheese just reminded me more of the taste and consistency. My stomach still isn't very happy about it, though I'm pretty sure it's just psychosomatic. Going to try hard to sleep and hope the feeling is gone by tomorrow.

The lack of hearing in my right ear has gone to my left ear. I am now almost completely deaf.
Sinus infections can move into the ear and do that. Had a cold lately? Were it my ear, I'd swab it out with Hydrogen Peroxide on a Q-tip... but you might consider going to a doctor for a proper diagnosis.

I felt very flu-ish yesterday. But my right ear has had screwed up hearing for a few weeks. I'd rather not stick anything more into my ears, so I'll go to the doctor.

It's very possible to have heavy congestion deep in the ear, too far in to safely clean with a Q-tip.  Thank goodness for ear doctors, my brother and I would have gone deaf ages ago without them.

Oh rollerblading Jesus....you actually ATE one of those? I can't imagine what sort of conflict could lead to that being the "peace offering". Next, you'll tell me you washed it down with a durian milkshake.

@AoD: Yeah, sinus problems can do that. I lost about 10% of my hearing range *permanently* when I had a bad sinus infection and then had to fly back from the Czech Republic with it. My ears never repressurized when we landed in NYC, and I was stumbling around the airport clutching my skull like one of the poor sap in Scanners. Took antibiotics and a couple of days wait before they finally popped.  :-[

As for myself, I'm sad because I had my first personal correspondence from Toady. And it wasn't to tell me what a hoopy frood I am.  :-\
Can't say it was unwarranted though. I need to amplify my relaxed state vis-a-vis certain individuals.

Angel you're going to have to get your ears flushed.  Like me, we both collect ear wax at outrageous speeds so either flush your ears yourself or get a doctor to do it if you're uncomfortable.

I may very well be in the process of completely fucking up my shot at college, and it's not even from being too busy. I'm just a lazy pile of shit, literally, the apathy I have for two of my classes is crippling.

*sigh*

I always cry when my mom leaves.

I want to be home with her, not over here.  And besides, we'll probably be on different sides of the country in under a year and a half, and I won't be able to see her at all.
