I'm feeling sicker by the day. And my joint pain is constantly getting worse. I hope I don't have anything seriously wrong with me.

Maybe it's the flu.

I have tasted the forbidden fruit.
By that I mean I tasted vanilla extract out of the bottle..it was something I swore to myself I would never do, because I had heard it tasted bad. The curiosity overcame me, however, and now...it smells different. After tasting it and knowing that underneath that lovely smell is a terrifying taste, my nose simply does not react the same way to the liquid.

How depressing. :(

No wonder it tastes bad; you drank 70+ proof alcohol. :P

Sounds about right. When I had H1N1 (Swine Flu), I felt like someone beat me with a hammer, then set me on fire.

Bdthemag, turn off all the lights in your room, including your screen.

then turn on a light outside your room, and open the door

once the bugs have followed the light, lock them out.
I have to do this sometimes..

I have tasted the forbidden fruit.

How am I suppose to do anything at this rate.  Give me 20 day weeks.  Give me 80 hour days.  Give me 50 month years.  Give me immortality.  I'm sure I wouldn't get as bored as all those other lame immortals.

You'd think that would be accompanied by a "Happy thread" post a few days to a month ago.

Just took a practice test for the PSAT.
It makes me sad that standardized tests now have practice practice tests.

To be fair, the PSAT is also the National Merit Scholarship Qualification Test~

.... I didn't take the PSATs because I already took the SATs a few years ago for some gifted program admission test.

If I'd known that it'd be helpful for scholarships I would have taken it. I am now sad.

It makes me sad that standardized tests now have practice practice tests.

It makes me sad that I was so carefree back then that I could study for neither the SAT nor PSAT.  Oh, and I never spent much more than one day studying for an exam (I'm not counting finals or AP tests, which were admittedly different).

Now I've turned into a little stress ball.  I'm not sure what annoys me more--that I could have easily gotten straight A+s through high school if I'd just applied myself as much as I do now, or that I'm such a wreck.

Or that I could have probably gotten a big scholarship for Oberlin, if I'd set that as the main school I was applying for, and then I'd be with the private school kids like a lot of my friends from high school.

*sigh*

That's why I'm retaking it, actually~
