Two things:
1. For some reason I thought Truean was a female.

2. Truean, rock on you awesome person.
Truean is male->female Trans, and prefers to go by the 'she' pronoun. And yes she is.

I just caught myself being a racist sexist trans-ist?(is that even a word) asshole. I caught myself, and apologized, but the damage had been done.

I've finished writing my short story. I like it, it's the sort of thing I's like to read, but I just feel hollow.

Somehow there is a very freshly disowned 15 year old lesbian (whom I tutor sometimes) crashing at my place....
This sucks, but there's worse things that can happen, I know that all too well.

Relevant, still feel like absolute crap.
Blegh, wanna go home :'(

My nose declared independence from my face and has declared mucus liberated from my sinuses. Amazing I got any sleep at all with my face melting off.

Yup, it's that time of the seratonin/dopamine cycle for me.

My mood just plummeted into the abyss. I caught myself vaguely daydreaming of something happy on the roof of my house while stargazing and wistfully dancing about the edge. Definitely pulled myself away once I realised what I was doing.

Grad school's about to start. I think I need some time to meditate and reflect.

I think the saddest thing that I've managed to encounter today was my realization of just how many problems the average person in the rest of the world has with being happy. I mean I would only term myself as actually "sad" for a small handful (3-8) times in this last year. Combine that with the fact that my family has never really had any problems with depression (My grandma encountered it one serious time after she was married, and then since then none of my family has ever really suffered from it) or any real problems with relationships (my family has pretty much decided that since you can't ever get away from someone who is in the family you might as well get along with them. There have been a few bumps like when my uncle ended up in jail, but now that he's reformed we all pretty much get along with one another). All in all it's just a tad saddening to realize exactly how screwed up most of the world is in comparison to me and my family.

My laptop is starting to shit the bed.  Not because of anything internal but I think I fucked my keyboard over with humidity or something because I'm getting random j's and enter's and z's which sucks because there doesn't seem to be a solution unlike with a desktop, which I have, but I can't bring that to campus.  :P

Thankfully though, December is coming up so if I can hold on for now I might be able to get a $200 laptop since that's all I really need, I'm sure my parents won't mind I don't ask for anything usually.  I've had this laptop for 2 years anyway, which I admit is kind of short but for 27 cents a day on average that's pretty great.  I don't really have much money to blow most of it is dedicated to college and my parents don't even really have money for food until tomorrow.  I've been subsidizing on poptarts, breakfast strudels, and ramen for the past 10 days at least, heh.

But today's Friday so that's great.  Fate/zero is Saturday, Dexter is Sunday, and we're going grocery shopping Saturday too, just awesome.

Sorry Dad but I'm not going camping with you this weekend I'm gonna say I have to study (which is true anyway) kukukukukuku

This wasn't really a sad post.

Well, I had two choices this weekend.

a. Hang out with emotionally and verbally abusive relatives
b. Work work work

I'm doing b., and I'd rather do a.  I'm exhausted, scared, stressed, sleeping poorly... I don't really know, at this point.  Something weird is going on.

Nah, I don't feel burned out.  I think I'm just lonely and worried about grades.  Especially the worried about grades part, since in an ironic twist of fate I am doing poorly in my rhetoric courses and well everywhere else.

My dad is accusing me of getting sick... because I'm sleeping too much...because I didn't get enough sleep last night because I was sick.

I'm glad to see your moon logic is just as asinine as ever. Perhaps we can go over my study habits again and you can take an hour to repeat a hundred times that my problem is having different opinions on how to do math problems and being too stubborn to take the professors approach. Truly you have a solid grasp on the issue.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.
