I can't go into too much detail but... This has been the first time I've done a certain something without ending up immediately depressed afterwards in a long time.

Maybe I just needed better material.

Edit: Whoops. This should of been in the happy thread.

Bah, my body is made of aches and pains.  Asstacular.

Sudden memory: I have no pain medication

Other realization: I am probably going to be in pain for at least four hours

Other other realization: The last few episodes on my cd of GitS are not working

Other other other realization: this computer is crappy and pretty much can't play games

Faugh.

Read a book?

What the heck is a book? Is that what old people did before video games?

Books are an information storage medium that trade physical space for enhanced reliability in certain conditions, such as situations without reliable power supplies, and which to some users provide a superior tactile experience.

EDIT: Also, ouch, that is a nasty place for a bug bite. Hope it heals soon. I hear a cold solution of baking soda in water can help with such things, but this may well be an urban legend.

“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

I already finished one today... the only reason why I'm not doing math right now is because today has been midterm + finishing a hard book + pain, so I don't have enough energy to really read a novel or anything.

Think I might just go to bed.

Might be smart, if you're sleepy enough that you wouldn't just stay awake in bed. Remember, just have dreams of kicking your pain in the face repeatedly and that should probably fix it. This official medical advice brought to you by somebody totally qualified and definitely not making things up.

Wait, I'm a chameleon? Noooooo, my emotional state will be forever betrayed by the hue of my flesh! How will I deceive people now?

As it turns out, animal crackers in milk is not nearly as good as I'd hoped it'd be~
The crackers go soggy waaaay too fast, so you end up with a half soggy, half crunchy cracker, and the milk doesn't add enough flavour for it to be worth it~
