That doesn't mean it isn't a cyst. This is what I had in mind

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thyroglossal_cyst
That, might be what it is, now reading it, there's at least a chance it is.
Though, I don't know how that would explain having a smooth neck one moment, and then stretching my neck, hearing a crack, and the suddenly protrusion.

Keyboard's fucking up. Most of the buttons didn't respond and some of them were doing things like making the toolbar key respond.

Noticed that the guy who made Nisth Akath has been banned ages ago. Very sad. I feel like I missed a lot of great stuff because joining the forums so late. I'm so curious about the history of these forums, like who was Pathos, or what was Various nonsense. I've spent a lot of time searching for old posts to find about these things.

Put simply:
  • Pathos was a recurring troll with alt accounts.
  • Various Nonsense was a GD-esque board that was closed down for rampant idiocy.
If it's any consolation, Mr.Nist Akath & co. are still around in #bay12games.

Shel Silverstein, I am a damn grown up man now and your work is still punching me in the gut.

Anyone else have a rough time reading The Giving Tree to kids?

I woke up after about 5 and a half hours of sleep. I feel as if I've gotten 8 to 10. This worries me, because I also seem to have superficial cold symptoms (stuffed up nose, seem to have a fever since I've been sweating a lot in 74 degrees), but none of that weird bleh feeling that always goes with having a cold. I'm not sure what's up, but I can't afford to be sick right now and the inevitable crash is sure to be awful.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Oh hey...Nikov finally got the hammer. Unlike the vast majority of the forum, this makes me the opposite of sad.

Why haven't we invented the damn Babelfish by now??

It'd be cool if once in a while folks looked at me as though I were cute.
I'm convinced this is already happening, without you realizing it.

I'm so curious about the history of these forums, like who was Pathos, or what was Various nonsense. I've spent a lot of time searching for old posts to find about these things.
To elaborate on what's already been said, Pathos was a sort-of-troll that eventually got banned, and had multiple alt accounts that were nothing like Pathos. More alts popped up, each acting completely differently. Hence the 'everyone is Pathos!' deal. Hey, even you could be Pathos. It's hard to tell.

Various Nonsense was once the entire lower forums combined, and then some guy called inaluct wrote a constitution for when it seceded from Bay12. After months and months of rampant idiocy and people breaking forum rules left and right, the entire forum was blocked, being available for only a few members.
