Is bread Perma-banned?

Yes, after several infractions and mutes. It may be a pity, but it wasn't entirely undeserved or unexpected.

Yeah, it is sad to see people get the ban hammer. I know why Breadbocks was banned but what did RF do?

"Multiple offensive posts, ignoring moderation", apparently. If you're so curious, you can ask him over Steam yourself.

Finally got around to reading the NY Times' piece on the Adams brothers. Pretty good piece, but then it dawned on me -- I'm older than Toady.

For some reason, I still have this mentality that the older someone is, the more they should have accomplished. This was fine as a kid, I could look up to any number of people and think, "Aha! I could do that, I just haven't been around a long enough time."

Now I look around at literally thousands of people younger than me who are rich, or famous, or have created shit that blows my mind...and all I can think is, "Why didn't I do that? I'm running out of time."  :-\

I used to have that. Now, when I feel that way, I just look at the folks near or under my age that have crashed and burned from doing too much. It helps keep things in perspective.

I can amount most of my issues to this idea bringing me down ever since I was 10.

Some Portuguese channel just played a movie about a guy who had to put his dog down. I can hear my sister sobbing in her chair, gonna head over there now to help her out.

Why did so many of the bans on the moderation list disappear?

Probably because they were pretty old and like people had brought up, it was getting crowded.

Ehhhh... okay.

Oh, yeah, that list was started pre-May... huh.  That makes sense.

A long busride got me thinking and made me fall into a melancholic mood.

Also I really need to ask some questions about personal space, friendship and so on.
It's just too painful to figure that out yourself. Especially if the desired gender is involved.
