I chipped my tooth.  No idea how I did it, probably grinding in my sleep weakened it and it broke when I was eating something, but one of the points of my very back molar has chipped.  It hurts so bad.

Aw, shit.  I've done that before (face-planted into a metal chair because someone was trying to hit me and I ducked a little bit too vigorously).  Don't worry, it goes away pretty fast.

Understand, I have XP, but in case I ever upgrade to a newer netbook, I'd like to remain able to play a decent hack and slash, and diablo 2 is about the newest H&S that runs reliably on netbooks

You  should've watched when Janet livestreamed it. It turned into MST3k for a few moments.
 
Horrifying the game gets, I'm not really all that affected by gorn. Not  really a fan of the genre. I did try my own playthrough of the game. Friggin' Loli-Puncher. I hate that thing. I stopped right there out of  ragequit after my n-th death.

EDIT:
BTW, you want true nightmare fuel, read the Tropes page on the game, as well as find a translation script of it. Now that will give you some "no mouth, must scream" kind of nightmares; especially also tossing in the many deaths. Of course, personally, in order to narm it all; just Space Quest or "Have a Nice Death" trope tossed in with it. Instead of not sleeping in horror, you'd not sleep in laughter.

I dunno. For some reason I find 'The Butcher' more creepy. It's probably the limp. Yeah. That's a creepy limp. Lolipuncher was just annoying. Especially for the eight or so times before you realised that you Weren't Actually Supposed To Take The Seal Just Yet.
