And this is something what really made me sad.
I have never seen an eclipse in my whole life.
And what could be my chance to see one, it's ruined by damn clouds.

Well, there are two lunar eclipses per year, so you can always make it up next time, if it's possible.

Seen it, but it wasn't really in the best position. Just above the roof of the school next to us and constantly vanishing behind clouds.

Hmmm...I accepted this $5,000 grant for college, however I also have these three loans I can accept for an additional sum of $8,500.  I don't think I should accept those though since I applied to many scholarships (one which has already replied with a hefty $2,000 amount) and I'd rather use those then loans.  Man I can't believe I am even talking about this stuff.

*sigh*

I hate language class exercises that want you to make invitations for parties.  I've never really had a party (because I've never had more than 2 or 3 "friends" I was close enough to to even consider asking over), so what the hell am I supposed to do--I can't figure the damn things out.  What the fuck is their damage?

That's unwanted rancor, I know.  I'm just venting, because I can't say "Well, I don't know what to do because I've never done that before.  Sir."

I feel like saying "I want to go home and hide in bed," but I am "home."  Home here, anyway, and there's no point to hiding in bed.

Also, I have canker sores on the back of my throat.  Again.

Also, I'm working on losing a little weight and getting in shape, so I'm suddenly all crotchety and crap.  Blah.

Show your disapproval by writing it like it's a birthday party for a five year old.

Every time I close my eyes, I see Alex Jones saying "It's like a quark's gluon particle, it's impregnidable" to describe the terrorists' passports (Which survived the crashes, which Alex Jones feels is impossible enough to make it evidence)

Like a quark's gluon particle, it's impregnidable.

It haunts me.

I don't know what happens at those, really.

I know how you feel, Vector. The last time I had a real "Birthday Party", I was six and barely remember it. Always makes awkward situations when people find out my birthday is soon and freak out about it, only to be informed that I don't celebrate my birthday. They tend to become very confused, as if hit with a brick, upon being told that.

Yeah, always take free money over money you have to pay back.  Trust me, loans you can always get, if you're getting scholarships, that means you're on the right track.

Huh, I actually have a similar task to fulfill.

Writing holiday greetings for my polish course entrance exam.
Problem is I've never had a proper holiday, if I don't count visiting relatives in Poland.
Also, I'm not the person to bother anybody with something so banal and of the few people I know nobody does care about such a thing.

I do celebrate my birthday, but... I celebrate with my parents, in that we eat cake or pie together and then they proceed to give me a lot of books and some clothes.  Clothes because we're heading into Sudden Shortage territory and my mom finds a lot of good stuff--just, you know, button up blouses and skirts from yardsales.  Books for my education.

And that's basically it.  We never go on days out or anything.  I never get anything but books and clothing for my birthday (sometimes I get a little candy for Christmas), though I am working on convincing my parents to help me procure shoe-polishing paraphernalia.

So, er, anyway.

Luckily, this was (as far as I know) just an in-class assignment, for which I was able to abuse my seat partner, but if I have to write an invitation for my homework I'll probably end up hijacking some other universe's characters and doing something bizarre.

Other bad thing:

I'm developing a crush on a guy in my class, who has incredibly severe insomnia.  Like, "Doesn't sleep for a week and a half sometimes" insomnia.  He's... also a legal studies student and somehow picked up a Bavarian accent for his German =/

1. Crushes can burn to death

2. I have got to do something about my taste in guys

Hey, insomnia is dead sexy. Take for example Adam Young, or better yet, myself. Never underestimate the appeal of inability to sleep.
