Lots of smoke in the air this morning, starting to look like fog, even.

 1. You lost credibility when you made the argument that Clinton is sexy in any way.
 2. You can't follow that up with the known custom of not having images of people. It makes the previous point invalid and should be applied to everybody.

It's an image everybody is overreacting to, so blerg.

Eh, Clinton can certainly be sexy, I'm sure.

But seriously: why not photoshop in a burqa or something?  Why just remove her from the room entirely?

I've got some sort of injury to my actual organy stomach that is causing slight internal bleeding. Tomorrow will be full of fun doctor stuff.

Fee hikes in the UC system.

Especially high for UC Berkeley and UCLA, because they're better schools.

Goodbye, progress.  Hello, capitalism.

Goodbye, progress.  Hello, capitalism.
Yeurgh, I know that feeling. A short while ago the Washington legislature passed a bill to require Running Start students to pay a portion of their tuition - for 3 classes per quarter (15 credits), it would cost a whopping $375. An AA is 90 credits. $2250 is a lot of money for a high school student who has no time to take a job because they are also in college. The worst part is that that money plus the subsidization from various government programs is actually going to earn them enough money to cover every single program deficit they have. I don't mind paying my part, but why do the least capable people have to pay for everyone else?

I could be wrong, but don't think it has anything at all to do with the women being "sexy", I think it was just them being sexist and thinking that women don't have any place in a war meeting or something.

No, they really do believe that all images of women are pornography.
