So fucked up. All these poor people. I wonder how they're gonna feel on 22th. I hope there won't be too many suicides over it.
There won't be, jeez. This isn't the first time it's happened, everyone just moves on a little more cynical and life carries on. There have been hundreds, there will be hundreds more.
People have killed themselves over less than giving up all their money, jobs, belongings and then not getting into heaven.

Fanatics gonna fanaticize.

Turns the reason my stomach-ache and dry retching was food poisoning. Woke up this morning and emptied my stomach into the toilet. Happened several more times, but now there's nothing left to get rid of, I feel much better.

Except I'm really headachey now. urgh.

Except if they are fanatics they believe that suicide will send them to hell. So they will stay here and bug us more, inevitably inventing more raptures down the road.
EDIT: I can't make stuff this crazy up, and he's serious.
Quote from: crazy dude saying why the rapture is may 21
The number 5, Camping concluded, equals "atonement." Ten is "completeness." Seventeen means "heaven." Camping patiently explained how he reached his conclusion for May 21, 2011.

"Christ hung on the cross April 1, 33 A.D.," he began. "Now go to April 1 of 2011 A.D., and that's 1,978 years."

Camping then multiplied 1,978 by 365.2422 days - the number of days in each solar year, not to be confused with a calendar year.

Next, Camping noted that April 1 to May 21 encompasses 51 days. Add 51 to the sum of previous multiplication total, and it equals 722,500.

Camping realized that (5 x 10 x 17) x (5 x 10 x 17) = 722,500.

Or put into words: (Atonement x Completeness x Heaven), squared.

"Five times 10 times 17 is telling you a story," Camping said. "It's the story from the time Christ made payment for your sins until you're completely saved.

"I tell ya, I just about fell off my chair when I realized that," Camping said.

I think he actually did fall off his chair, and hit his head really, really hard.

He's a idiot. Everyone knows that Newton said the rapture wouldn't happen till at least 2060, and who is he to disagree with Newton.

I love how he deliberately sat down to play games with numbers until he found a date that "fit", then went on to say "ZOMG revelation totally out of the blue!"  An epiphany it ain't.

I think he did a little bit more than just fall off of his chair.

He must have been kicked at a wall several times as a baby

I just feel sad for all those people who'll be massively disappointed.

But then again I always found the concept of Rapture to be stupid and biased anyways, so yeah.
