Also, my Xbox just broke.

And my dad just told me he'd get me Portal 2 D: D: D:

Double ditto.

Meanwhile, procrastination strikes again.
I have to write a position paper, edited draft of an oratory, and design a cover for the binders in a group activity.
I have an hour and fifteen minutes before I likely pass out from exhaustion.

Lessee, overdue assignments, well...

Meanwhile, wrong thread, but on topic,
Why I love the way Sensei grades things:
Projects are half of your grade, homework is nothing.
I have a 26.5% from quizzes and half of the speaking activities.
Once I get in two of the three missing projects and he grades the last one, I'll have a 76.5%.

Captain Mayday, meh.
Retro, I'll honestly miss, though. I didn't like him much, but I liked arguing with him. His posts made sense, were well structured, and more often than not, adressed the issue at hand. Sad to see him gone.

Ugh... I'm sad about the bans, and I'm scared.  I don't want to be scared anymore.

Captain Mayday, Makrond and Retro have been banned for supporting Dasleah's multiple ban dodges and generally flouting moderation.

Well that's complete bullshit. 'Flouting moderation'? What, because they said they don't agree with you and the way you run things? This just comes off as really petty. Both of them were being quite reasonable, and I don't remember either of them supporting Dasleah ban-dodging at any point.

Don't bother banning me for 'flouting moderation' as well, I can see myself out.

Edit: Should probably be 'because they don't agree with you on the way you run things.' As far as I am aware nobody has problems with Toady personally

I think Mayday actually expressed at least mild disapproval of Dasleah and Makrond at one point. I'mma email Toadman.

Toady... not sure I can agree with that. They were being reasonable, and I don't see a need for them to be banned. Seems not only an overreaction, but also a bit bitter on your part. Thanks for taking the time to moderate, though.

I don't remember either of them supporting Dasleah ban-dodging at any point.

Well, you have a poor memory then. The idea was that Dasleah ought to ban-dodge to get his point across, and somehow make the forums "better" like in the old days.
While I also don't agree with Toady's reasoning of "Well, they agree, and they're all from the same IRC group, so they're in cahoots.", supporting his ban dodging does constitute 'flouting moderation'.

Capt'Mayday was rather aggressive, (Hey, I can respect that. I bring out the flamers pretty quick too) and Retro's only fault was pursuing my posts and ocasionally twisting their meaning, but that's just how people work. Same goes for Toady. If this is the way he believes things will work better among the forumites, fine. It's his forum, his rules.

That isn't right at all. Makrond I understand, he was both being an arsehole and instigating more fights, but Retro and Captain? I can't possibly see what they did to deserve banning except being on the "same side of the line" as M.
