I'm begining to suspect that one of my classmates is attracted to me, and the feeling is most certainly not mutual. I can only hope that I'm just misjudging her intent.

Shit is disgusting. Really, it is. And there's nothing like a good sampling to make you appreciate realise just how disgusting it is.

Sony Ericsson's useless new browser program made me angry today.

Jesus Christ, why'd they have to go and ruin something that was perfectly fine to begin with?

I read Bentley Little's Dispatch today. It's the kind of book that leaves me vaguely sad for reasons I can't easily specify, as it covers many different books.

Perhaps it's that the main character's lost love interest has the same name as a girl I idolized but never got. Don't know.

My leg is killing me, and its because of some fat, stupid idiot boy who got involved with something that wasn't his, and he pretty much shoved a chair at my leg. Catching the part closest to the bone. He got nothing more than a warning. And now, while cleaning my room, it started to act up again... Plus I was pretty much backed up into a corner about something, which almost made me cry...

In short, what a great fudging day.

Spent about 12 hours over the weekend working on a metalsmithing project. Half of that was doing it wrong. Gotta go in tonight to make up the time. Blurghle.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

"Oh damn I've got to write a short story, although I'm no use to anyone when I'm this tired, I suppose I'll take a short nap."

Four fucking hours later I wake up and realize my alarm clock is broken.

And as it turns out, I'm already stumped. I can't think of a single realistic way to power a time machine without indecipherable technobabble.

Then use technobabble.

It feels too much like cheating. I get the feeling I'll be up all night working. Not to mention the other thing I need to do. Riting are hard.

EDIT: I've solved the problem. It's extraordinarily stupid, but it's at least feasable.
