I'm kinda sad too. If it's goodbye for good I'm really gonna miss him.

I've said things to people... But he was one of the people I connected the most with, emotionally. And if he really is going to leave for good that's something Ill be missing for now on.

I'm happy for him the same though, for finally working towards getting his life back on track. In a sense... All the time we spent talking, that he'd always turn back to helping me... That's what I wanted from him.

I do hope he'll be back one day. Be it a month or two years from now. But if not it's going to leave a hole I don't think I can ever fill again.

@ Janet:
Why don't you ask him his IM id then? It's not like "no longer being a regular on bay12" == "no longer talking to anyone on the interwebz".

That's the thing. I have him on steam.

If he ever comes online again is the problem. I'm not sure if he will.

Yeah, I'm sad about it, too.  I can't say much more about it because I don't know him well, but it seems bittersweet.  Mostly, I'm glad that his life is improving.

In current-forum news, yet another thread in Life Advice has attracted an irritant.  Whoooo.

(For anyone who's wondering, I'm sticking around for at least a few days to get information about state government and the Japanese earthquake.  I'll probably pop back out soon enough).

I can't see why he wouldn't, tbh. Sure, some things in life are tough, some take up all your time and some on top, but I can't see why he'd cut off.

I somehow missed out on WD story, just like I missed out on so many things.
I guess, this is why I can never become a proper member of this community...

Would be nice to know, what this is all about...

We're losing old members left and right. Vector, sorta, Tack, and now WorkerDrone. Who's next? Toony?

Communites change, as do the people that they consist of. We just have to go with the flow and deal with whatever happens, good or bad.

You guys totally haven't lost me.  I'm just not posting about things no one cares about anymore, I guess.

I found it quite inspiring.  Definitely good to hear that WorkerDrone's coping well.

Oh wow.
If Vector has been posting things nobody cares about, then why do I even bother trying.
Cmon, give yourself some credit.
