Coworkers being chauvinistic pigs again.
God, how I hate "I'd hit that"-discussions.

I still occasionally have dreams my Boston terrier is alive again.

You are missing out on an important male bonding ritual.

The memories are worst at night. I've lost track of the sound of him being hit, but the images of him struggling to stand after first being hit and his final look give to me as the vet carries him off to put him down still haunt me. I have a psychology class tomorrow, so I'll talk to my professor and see what advice she can give. I was generally rather annoyed with her for Vector-like reasons, but I would be tremendously grateful for whatever help she can give. I'm rather sure this trauma is gonna cause some psychological issues later on, so best combat that now.
I had to chase both my cats through the house and put them away in a cage never to see them again.

I'm like the scuba diver in Finding Nemo.

A bonding ritual that makes you look like an ass?

I'm with Mindmaker on this one, hate those discussions, pointless.

Indeed. I'm tired of being put in the male stereotype.
And I really don't want to bond with these kind of people.

Not to mention that it's a terribly shallow bond.
A much better one can be achieved with having inside jokes or discussing topics of interests, without degrading or objectifying other people.

*Bro-fist.*

I have to make an effort to avoid these conversations, I'm not to popular with people but fuck it, better than being another stamped and pressed clone.

Yeah, we will. I'll be sure to take care of her. Thanks.

EDIT: I took a closer look at her and now I can't tell if her nose is dirty or actually crushed/burned. It looks like one of her teeth might've overgrown. I have no idea right now...
I'm sorry for this coming a bit late, but I really think you should take her to a vet as soon as possible. I don't know what else a person can do except basic caring and waiting... I hope she'll be all right.

My puppy scratched me badly enough that I put gauze and some antibacterial stuff on it.

Poor dog.

... 'it' being the scratch, not the dog.  :-\

I would high-five you, but I don't have enough gas money to make it to your house. Although next time, you could try saying something like, "I would most happily strike that maiden!" and take everything they say literally, berating them for wanting to punch another human being.

I always found that funny, especially since it's quite widespread around these parts, so i just stand there smiling awkwardly while they talk about it.
Also my graduation paper is progressing, slowly but it's getting there, and i can't help it with all these distractions, i really don't understand how someone can get any work done on a computer with an internet connection XD

And this is basically all you can do, if you don't want your sexuality questioned :/
Well not much longer and I can finally choose the people I surround myself with again.

Oh and *internet-five*, you guys deserve one.

New sad thing:
I adopted my puppy about two weeks ago, from a litter of 4 (they were abandoned at the humane society with no information).
Apparently, one of her brothers just died of parvovirus. My pup isn't showing any of the symptoms a quick Google search told me, so I'm not too worried.
