I get to spend another two weeks in bed...

I do hope I recover soon... I'm tired of feeling so weak all the time.

What did you bang your head on this time?

Hey, other people who live with Janet and read her posts (even though you're probably figments of her imagination), hold her down and keep her from getting sick and injured and stuff, it's getting ridiculous.

It was ridiculous three concussions ago. Now it is deeply in the realm of absurd.

Although I fear this one she has no power over.

Do you have a problem with me Footkerchief? First you didn't bother apologizing to me over the very harsh way you described smokers and now you've been doing that a bit.

Wait what?  I thought I did apologize about the smoker thing, and I didn't even know that was your desktop.

now you've been doing that a bit

Doing what?

Never mind. Just asking really quick. No real feelings one way or the other.

Anyway I didn't get injured again, it's just my heart isn't doing well still. So more rest before I can try doing some exercise to strengthen it further.

And stop Joking about that Aqizzar, it's stupid. I'd be pretty screwed in this condition if I was living on my own.

Well, it seems my awesome score on the freelance job site (see HAPPY) managed to have everyone at the house make a big freaking deal over my successes and such. This is the reason why I don't like revealing any spectacular trait about myself. I hate when anyone makes a big deal out of anything I'm reasonably good at.

That's an awfully good rant Mr. Caulfield.

Catcher in the Rye I take it?

I never thought I'd actually resemble that character.

Now I want to read that book to be certain.

EDIT:
After surfing Tropes for a bit, I suppose this trope describes me through and through (after buzzing Catcher in the Rye's trope page a bit): Brilliant But Lazy.

Perfect example, Bloodfist (with the sudden progress boom), and just about anything else I've been bragged about, but a no-show with the proof for the reasons described above. Or a similar way I described to myself, as a thought. I would essentially be what you get if you were to cross Orlandeau (FFT) with Setzer Gabbianni (FF3/6). First real confirmation of it I got (from other people, non-school/obligation) was from after working at my last job, I hammered down a few (maybe 4) Jagermeister/Jager-bombs (4-6 oz. each) at the nearby tavern in a short amount of time, and wasn't phased one bit. My co-workers I was hanging out with that witnessed it considered me a total badass, kept calling me such all night.

Reminder: apparently Jagermeister is like a silver bullet to any regular drinker around town, and even a small handful can nearly incapacitate anyone/give one hell of a hangover. I was able to work the very next morning no problem, no hangover. I kid ye not.

Oh, and anther example is also that financial problem that occurred with Valve/Steam and my bank account a few weeks ago (it's all there many pages back). I'm overall lazy and unmotivated to do any real work or get a better job, but once that happened, I solved the problem and gathered all the evidence I needed (and ultra-simplified) in less than 6 hours, and the problem got averted with a 2-bird-1-stone card replacement in the process which I needed to do anyway in less than a week just before my next work day. The timing couldn't have been any better.

This is also the reason why I went on to also get through some tests in the freelance job search site, and passed at least 1 test with flying colors on my first try (didn't do others yet).

If you had to trope me...

When I'm in a good mood, Cloud Cuckoolander.
Bad mood, Knight in Sour Armor.

Although I suppose calling myself a Cloud Cuckoolander makes me NOT a Cloud Cuckoolander.

Or something.

I sense the sudden topic change here is going to make many sad; so pre-emptively, I'm going to end the derail.

Should we move this discussion and necro the old forumite trope thread? If this continues, we might as well.

I hate having to cut out huge portions of my movie in order to upload it on DF Map Archive. I'm having a hard time doing it too.

I've passed Toady One in post count. I do not see this as a good thing. Which is weird because the only other time I ever really cared about my post count was to boast about how I was just below him.
