Spoiler: Before and After (click to show/hide)

You know how many times I've been up that spire? A dozen. It's a major tourist attraction and the quake hit at 12:31, there were people up there when it came down, I guarantee it. Jesus Christ. That's basically my city. Fuck you, random happenstance. My family, at least, is okay, but how many people have I passed in the street in that city are dead now?

I realized today that I'm in an impossible situation with a friend of mine, and every path I see leads to probable disaster.

Man and I just saw a dog in a dream a few hours ago too.  I'll take all the sad feelings from you so you don't feel sad.  Duke it'll be okay.  I had to do the same thing with the cats I had for like 6 years just recently except at least I know they're both alive.

EDIT:
Holy crap what a shitty day in the sad thread.  Usually it's just "my life sucks waa" but today it's like "pets dead people dead shit dead shit"

I had a seriously disturbing nightmare about my own dog last night. I've managed to forget most of it by this point, but its still sort of freaking me out.

A couple of, now former, friends did some really retarded and petty stuff. One of them had been crushing on my new girlfriend, for quite a while, and I didn't know when I asked her out. He got all pissy and punched a hole in the drywall, so I just plain beat the hell out of him and then called his parents and told them the situation while he cleaned himself up. A different friend went and got trashed before coming to one of my parties, and I had to turn him away and later call the proprietor to remove him, because it was a clean party. My core group of friends has been shattered, and it will take awhile to rebuild and get rid of this ash taste.
The pot has been sweetened ladies and gentleman. Two of my five remaining friends have been dating for about a year now. Just yesterday, they broke up and for late last night into early today, they were crusading around and trying to get people to take sides. Then we find out she's pregnant, and now everything is fucking peachy. Haha, just kidding this is shitty as.. god I don't even know. I feel too tired, and sad and angry. I'm just burnt out and I want to be alone so I can bottle up my emotions, but I'm the one that needs to keep the cohesion and work shit out.
I feel for you, but I can't help thinking that this sounds exactly like what would happen in a movie right before you undergo some life changing epiphany that will lead you to happiness. It's not too realistic, but you never know. All I can say is 'good luck.'.

If I come back in ten days with magic powers stemming from my intense resolve, I'll credit you Barbar  ;D. I guess I am happy for it a little. Some dilemmas will tear you apart, but some are so big they force you right back together. My friend already got a job that fits around school, and we all chipped in amongst us to get him a car to get there. It isn't a looker, but it is solid enough, and I guess progress will happen from here.

While playing Dragon Age I suddenly remembered that Morrigan supposedly has camel toe.

Camel toe isn't the right way to describe it.  For all it's doing, she may as well not be wearing underwear.  It is probably the most detailed part of any texture in the game.  I don't want to know who made Morrigan because they clearly spent a lot of time on her hoohaa and that's creepy.

I regret deciding to stay the night at my friend's house.
I'm stuck sleeping on a cramped loveseat and there's no TV to distract my racing thoughts and letting me go to sleep.
I would usually stay up, but there's nothing to do. I'm on my laptop, right now, but there's no where to plug it in because my charger is so god damn short.
Also, the thoughts preventing me from going to sleep is really depressing me.

I've lost 3 cats so far, the first to Cancer when I was really young, the second we managed to run over due to his love of walking in front of the car as we went up the driveway, and the third to a series of bloodclots in his lungs. Second bites hardest, I usually got out and picked him up when he did something that god damn stupid. I don't know why I didn't that time.

I really need to stop playing mafia for at least half a year.

This constipation I am getting AGAIN. Except it is bad to the point that my GAR is increasing by the second. I can barely sit still for any long period of time, let alone make a straight face at a mirror.
