I'm fortuitous to have my last name, as it is an extremely common last name and also slang for 'penis'. Fortunately, I've managed to avoid any childhood tormenting for this fact, but now I can say, "Yeah, so?" to people who call me a dick. Kind of like I can to people who call me a bastard (because, by chance, I'm one of those, too). Tremble, world, before my uninsultable nature!

Also you share a name with Philip motherfucking Dick which is cause for rejoicing right there.

Well, no, it's "Johnson", but see, they're both used as slang for the same part of anatomy so I can still make the joke.
Well on the topic of names, today i heard about a nascar driver http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dick_Trickle. My dad also worked with a guy named Dick Long.

Also my last name means "one who makes cushions" in German. How in the hell that works out I will never know.

My names are, in order, a saint, "bright fame", "Who is like God?", and one of those "son of"s.
The latter has been subject to nicknaming, but luckily everybody around here is dumb enough to, for instance, not understand why people start laughing when somebody mentions the movie "Free Willie". *rolleyes*

My Grandmother was diagnosed with lymphoma today. She has about 3 months to live, according to the doctor.

She's 85, so I suppose she's had a nice long life. But, still, it's sad news. She's the only grandparent who was still alive when I was born.

Also, I feel your pain.  I am not a proponent of "Bieber fever" or pretty much any other mainstream music.
I have absolutely no idea what any of Justin Bieber's music sounds like, but I think I actually like the kid for one reason.  If his CSI and phone commercial appearances are any indication, he doesn't take himself any kind of seriously, and is unabashedly into being iconified for his fifteen minutes of fame and big bucks.  I can respect that.
Yeah never had a hate for the guy.  I haven't listened to one single thing he's done, but the amount of hate he gets from people I don't like makes me like him.

OW! God damn it! Does anyone of you sneeze hard enough to make your joints ache and your neighbors jump in fright?

On a side note, I am also sad that I am an idiot and it seems to be incurable.

Also, we're all idiots. Your just slightly less of an idiot then the vast majority of humans are, you just don't see that.

TMI. Also, hooray for ruptures. (I can link a WoW trade-spam macro if you want me to.)

As for me being less of an idiot, as long as I still am an idiot it'll bother me. But if people can get by on being even greater idiots than me (and when I read the ramblings of some economic analysts I feel like I'm reading a poorly-written fantasy novel) I guess I can manage.

Uh, what?

A common practice in World of Warcrap is to flood tradechat with "Anal" or "Harry Potter" spam. Or both. This way, you get a new J.K.Rowling novel called "Harry Potter and the Anal Rupture"
Or this timeless classic (third line).

Or bloodworms. That never gets old.
