I am indeed playing Nethack.  I haven't beaten it before, although one time I got stuck in a doorway right outside the high altar room with angels of moloch on either side of me and various annoying heroes to the diagonals.  I couldn't get out because I couldn't move diagonally, and every time I killed something something else came at me.  I also, stupidly, turned off conflict (I was, also stupidly, using the Sceptre of Might for conflict as a Valkyrie), before the astral plane so I could get the angel pet, who did jack shit.  The sceptre got pissy and wouldn't reactivate and so I tripped over the finish line.

This time my big problem is that my bell of opening is empty and I don't have any scrolls of charging.  I'm now searching the mines and shit for magic markers or wands of polymorph so I can finally get this show on the road.

EDIT:  Also I have three amulets of life saving.  Gonna win this time.

Can't exploit that as well on Normal or above.

Besides, only elves play on Easy mode

Heheh. Cirno's easy if you're prepared for her icicle shotgun. Icicle fall is also easy, if you don't stay in the middle and try to dodge both waves at once. It's better to move to the side and dodge that wave first before dodging the other.

Bluh, I just did Stage 2 in practice mode just to show you how I do it, and then I find out that practice mode doesn't have replays xP

I only messed up once, half a second before Icicle  Fall was over :/

My step-Dad gave me a box telling me to pack everything I own in it.  We lost our house and I'll be living with my Grandma for awhile until we find another place.

Wow... I hope your family will be able to find a new place soon. Are you going to be in the same local area for school, at least?

State school so as long as I'm in Connecticut I'm fine.

I can't keep the two cats I've had for 6 years though.

Toony, do you have a friend or family member you trust, who would be willing to take care of your cats for a month or two? I'm sure there's some way to work that out that wont end in having to adopt them out.

Well we're planning on getting an apartment and I'm pretty sure none of them allow pets so unless that friend or family member took a full-time job caring for them there isn't much point.

I'm going to work with four gigantic holes in my mouth.

This is going to be painful.

Also, Hopy shit Toony, that sucks. I'll talk to you more about it. After work.

Yeah, he's a banned spammer. Normally we'd delete this thread too, but people were having too much fun with it by the time we got here.
