I usually remember by 2.2 pounds to a kilogram and well centimeters to feet is a little harder.

There are like 100 centimeters in a meter so do it that way.  :P

Every time someone says something like that, I think "double-down man" and end up quietly chuckling to myself.

Seriously, it's not like this thread is better at staying on-topic than any other thread on this board.  There's loads of happy here, too.
