Now I want to learn how to make kopytka, though... they seem very cute, and pretty simple, too.
As easy to make as they come:

Wow, that does look easy.  Thanks for the bookmarks!  I'll have to try those out once I've put up some sauerkraut.

He basically suggested that a woman who wasn't showing interest in one of our forum-goers should be violated, as she would then be impressed by his strength and inclined to go out with him.  When called on this, he refused to back down and suggested that such advice would benefit the person in question greatly, so that he might stop being a "beta male" and no one would be asking for relationship help in Life Advice.
That sounds like the most astoundingly stereotypical troll logic I have ever seen. I'm really glad that Toady is as crazy awesome as he is at moderation.

Hrm... Polish food conversation is making me want to actually try some Eastern European food sometime. Maybe I can find a restaurant in Seattle when I go there next. Hooves made out of potatoes...? Genius!

Yeah, he's a banned spammer. Normally we'd delete this thread too, but people were having too much fun with it by the time we got here.

I missed the drama. Again. Even though I couldn't fall asleep and spent the night on tvtropes. It makes me sad. In both ways, I guess.

I just peed out another kidney stone.

Mother fucker. Ow. Getting shot hurts less than this.
Uh... do you know why you're getting them?  They might be possible to stop with a change in diet/ medication/ whatever.

From what I've seen on 4chan (I don't even touch NSFW boards)

/tg/ and /co/ are cool places usually.
/a/ varies wildly depending on the day from pretty cool stuff (like finding out about a new show to watch) or horrible (double threads or stupid threads that are just there for controversy).  There's also a lot of K-On and Strike Witcher general threads if that means anything.  Like I would watch either show, ugh.
/v/ usually sucks and I don't go there anymore.

I don't go on any other boards.

Strike Witches has an undeserved bad reputation among certain parts of the internet, largely due to the unnecessary lack of pants.

My blood just "turned to ice" when I thought the spring semester had begun a week ago.

It was crazy.  I could actually feel a chill rushing through my heart and my hands getting colder.

Fortunately, this is in the "things that made you sad today" thread, rather than the "things that made you dead today" thread.

That would be a very not-busy thread.

Indeed.

I am also shocked by my astoundingly terrible geographical knowledge, which goes as far as thinking Korea was an island and not knowing exactly how... enormous... Russia is.  And then there's the embarrassment of not knowing Europe was attached to Africa... where the hell did I think Africa was, anyway?  Floating around in outer space?

*sigh*

Another thing to study.
