Do they have a history of randomly flipping out? The situation with them must have been pretty serious to break contact with them two years ago.

They kicked me out when I was three months pregnant, and didn't try to contact me for nearly two years...

Oh, sorry to re-open emotional wounds there.

Nah, my parents tore those open when they started ringing me again. Don't worry :)

I dunno, were they trying to apologise?  I mean, two years seems like enough time to reflect on past mistakes.

I'd say you made the right choice in cutting them off. Anyone who would kick out their own daughter like that isn't worth it.

What do you mean and how come? I'll butt out if I'm being too nosy.....
No, it's fine. I'm just unconsciously walking on my toes. For example, I'll start walking, then notice "Wait, why am I walking on my toes?". Having to make a conscious effort to NOT do it is annoying.

you should get it checked just in case

Damn.  I'm sorry it didn't end up with a good ending at least.  :/

Only to later throw abuse at her?

I don't really know enough to comment on that part, to be honest.  It just seems odd to cut all contact with someone, then reinitiate contact with them purely to throw abuse.

They let their emotions get the best of them, do something brash, feel bad about it when they calm down, seek to make ammends, and get all emotional and brash again, forgetting the pain of what they are doing. Every party involved is hurt, and only through every party getting over their pride can they fix things. MoM did try to patch things up and seek resolution despite the pain caused, so pride wasn't an issue. Although she must be cautious to not hold a grudge on them. It's understandable to not contact them because they act like pricks, but holding that venom inside yourself is very harmful. Still love your parents, and keep them at a distance where you can still do that without them taking your heart and smashing it.

I can walk normally just fine, it's just rather... habitual, I guess. Purely idiosyncratic (I like that word). It just makes walking rather awkward.

They threw their pregnant teenage daughter out on the streets for two years to fend for herself. MoM, they don't deserve your love.
