Okay.

Crusader kings is ridiculous when you have a big empire. My empire (and yes I can finally call it that, I have held a ton of kingdoms for two hundred years and been the papal controller more times then I can count and I still just got my first empire title) is so big and powerful the only real outside threat I can think of would be if the three biggest Christen kingdoms and the two biggest Muslim kingdoms joined up against me. It is to the point where I can take almost any kingdom with my personal troops alone.

At any rate, I spent thirty years stabling my kingdom for my heir to step in and finally my emperor dies. My new heir, the grandson of the emperor is crowned king and everyone loyalty drops a lot.

I have now spent 20 years and over 50,000 ducats preventing civil war and I still have lost my biggest french holdings, all my German/Balkan holdings and my single most powerful duchy has left.
Not really ridiculous. That kind of thing was everyday's bread with feudalism. Look at the Spanish Habsburgs, for instance, they pretty much lost a country in every succession.

But 20 years man! Stability of plus three! 50,000 ducats!

My kings are spending their entire life beating the issues from inheritance.

One of my favourite things: Bats.
One of my least favourite things: Fungus.

And now, for the past couple years, all the hibernating species of bats in North America are being completely wiped out by a fungus.
It hits caves and kills 90%+ of the bats hibernating in them. Apparently by interfering with their hibernation so they wake up too often, burn through their energy stores and either starve to death or try to leave to find food in dead winter and freeze. It's bad enough that some people are predicting that the most common species of bat (little brown myotis) might be functionally extinct in some areas within the next few years.

And frankly there's not much anyone can do about it. Nor is there a lot of funding going into research for it, because hey, they're bats, who cares right? Except me, who has intended to base their career on bat research since high school.

The accounts I've read of researchers returning to familiar bat caves and finding them all dead are just heartbreaking.

It stopped snowing! This can't be happening! We never get snow here! It has to keep snowing.

Yeah, but you don't have to go to school in two days if the downpour doesn't continute. Come on weather, it isn't that hard to make the paranoid bastards shut down the schools for a week. Keep going!

The only time they shut down school around here is if the first snowfall of the year is over two feet.

So, triple T got muted, which created a Pointless Thread Creation Voidtm, and now other people took it to themselves to create new iterations of "-" thread. Is GD going to end up like VN did now?

You know, because GD ended up exactly like VN every time someone was afraid that would happen. Calm down, it'll be fine. As I recall VN got shutdown when people started posting pornography or somthing, and GD isn't anywhere near that.

It was pointless stupidity and everyone who went through it has learned enough to keep those who haven't out of it.
