The Keith's brewery is moving. Or rather, production of it is shutting down in Nova Scotia and being moved to Ontario and Quebec (and rather oddly, Newfoundland). I'm somewhere between pissed and sad. Peeved, I suppose.

My father is growing the Ghost Pepper plant he received as a birthday present, and is insistant that we both try the finished product. I'm going to cook all my own food once its finished growing, lest it be snuck in.

Who honestly wants to eat somthing used as elephant repellant?

Me. That pepper sounds delightfully lethal.

Aye.
I love spicy food.
Not such a fan of sweet stuff, though.
It's a small list of sweet things I like.

Don't get me wrong, I love spicy food. In fact, I tend to get the hottest option at places that serve spicy food. But the hottest I've ever had was 300,000 Scovilles, and that was both nausating and physically painful. The Ghost Pepper is 1,000,000 Scovilles and has been known to leave people temporarally deaf.

*sigh*

Aspen came home and didn't contact me.  He also thought being penpals would be nice when he left for school, but... as usual, he got lazy about finding out his own goddamned address.

I'll be in Berkeley by the next time he comes home again, and I may be up there for the summer, too.  Hurmph.

Well, maybe he's busy kicking some more sense into Rosewood.  You never know.

Seriously, the Ghost Pepper is not a joke. This thing will put you out of commission for a day. It'll be nonstop agony. And this isn't the good pain that has been explained which releases chemicals to make you feel better, it's bad pain. May mother nature have mercy on you.

Reverse prank your father and dump all of it into his meal.

Put the fear of God into him.

Given how he acts, he'd probably like that. The man is a heat freak on a level I have never seen before.

Do it, and if by the end he is not crying like a baby call a scientist.
