...Okay, you remember when I said "No regrets"? Well, as hubris would have it, now I do have one, and I have a feeling it's not my fault, and I'm not sad, but furious.
Okay, I don't know what the fuck exactly happened, but apparently I've been ripped off by Valve/Steam, and maybe my bank, plummeting my bank account way below it's limits, yielding an overdraft fee of up to $420 somewhere, along with a couple another hidden overdraft of similar value (albeit lesser; but distantly gapped for greater fee charging). Much worse, checking my transactions, I noticed a bunch of mysterious payments for Valve software and such, much later than any prior transactions, and been charged for it. Even worse, my bank hasn't informed me of anything unusual going on with my account or anything like that AT ALL! Even with the wild purchasing (though it was by my own will), they didn't even bother calling me to see if my card was stolen or not or anything; seeing as it was out of character for my account to behave in such manner. I've been taking note of my account; recording my value to a paranoid level even (more to keep track of my income, and where my funds belong, according to my tracking, which is usually updated immediately after a transaction).
According to all my timings of purchases, and such, even with a delayed deposit, I still wouldn't bottom out this much; I even worked around it to guarantee I was still above the mark. to add to the suck factor, I've taken another gander at my past transactions, and noticed that I didn't (once more) AT ALL, have any of my deposits recorded before the next wave of purchases. Hell, make that A-N-Y deposit at all for the past 3 deposits (each one, close to each other, within a 1 month margin (enough room to not be affected by the holiday season); where noticeable, and applicable) which each one would keep me way above the mark. Even paying my dues would still leave me in a confident mark. So I ask again: WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED?!
(Disregard the scratched out. I re-read once more, and the deposit dates line up. This is now mostly personal with Valve themselves. They chaingunned my account (much later than my purchase times, unrelated by context as well), especially once I did touch the bottom-out zone, to a spot I can recover from.)
Does anybody have any ideas what may have happened during the last 2 days that makes Valve charge you in a chaingun fashion as well? I'm a bit puzzled about this, because afterward, especially when the account went below zero somehow, I was repeatedly charged for random Valve software; and nowhere on my account at the site, or on any records I have (including mail) show anything regarding it. I even compared the prices, and how much I spent on each wave of purchase and so forth. The numbers don't line up at all. I even memorized the patterns I followed, the times I purchased, and the values I had. Like I stated, something is not right. Thank goodness for my bragging of my savings; it didn't come to waste one bit. I know what, when, and where it all went to Hell, and who is responsible (according to the times). All I need to know how it happened, and why? And remember, I'm a living bullshit meter too.
Anyway, I'm going to gather my evidence and print it out, and have myself a word with my bank. Seeing as others in my household have had problems with the same bank recently, I might as well bring them along as backup. I mean, this is bullshit. I think they deliberately delayed my transactions to their liking so I owe them far more than I normally would (which would've still been positive in value. But they decided enslavement through my account is a better answer.). They pulled some serious crap before, similar to my case, and had past issues with my mother's account, she left them, and now they're taking it out on me. Apparently, they don't check their victim's information thoroughly enough; especially in regards to their last names. I know their gameplan; I've been witness to negotiations my mother had with them for similar reasons. Especially charging the more honest and better, more loyal, customers they have. Bad move on their part.
Next up on the list. Figure out what's with all these mystery purchases Valve has been making in my stead. Something is absolutely not right. It's like you're charged for installing games you already bought or something; or whenever the service get's a software update. If that's the case, I might bottom out even further than my current position already. If that's at all a case, I've got more evidence to back me up.
Normally I would feel sick, tremble, and nearly be incapacitated with regret and such when something along these lines happen (for a decent amount of time, and with good reason); but I know something isn't right this time. This is criminal. I don't usually well up with enough rage that can eclipse (or overshadow) WD's when bullshit like this happens. I've been robbed, and I want my money back by any means necessary. I'll even prepare myself to sue their asses (bank and/or Valve) if I must. I don't give a fuck; I know what I did, and what I didn't, and there are reasons I act in certain ways, to the point of predictable. It makes it incredibly easy for me, or anyone who knows me well enough (especially the predictable one) to spot anything completely out of character of me, and I see plenty of evidence supporting my claims.
I've been praying for a financial miracle for the past couple months, and God goatse'd me instead. As if the finger, or mooning me wouldn't be enough. Gee, thanks Lord. Real nice. Way to keep a follower to Your will.
The rest of the day (regardless my sister's delivery going as planned, as far as I can sense) was Murphy's, fucking, Law (including the topper above). Fortunately, for what it's worth, I have a personal belief that whenever I suffer, someone who needs my unusual levels of luck or good will most (in this case, sacrifice goes towards my sister and her child), gets it. Everything better have gone beyond the impossibly well for them; because I think I'm on a full name basis with the Devil now, considering how deep into Hell I've been tossed into today.
To put it, it's a cold day in Hell when the Devil honestly takes pity upon you, and means it. Brr.

I think this fulfills the Genius Moment, Fridge Logic, and CMOA trope trifecta.
I took one more, very relaxed look at my bank account. I was freaking balls-accurate with my estimates. I wouldn't have overdrafted one bit. The mysterious Valve software mega-purchase chaingunning is responsible (I did further comparisons as well, none of the numbers lined up one. single. bit.), and it occurred as my last transaction was passing by, blending in like a chameleon, forcing an overdraft chain reaction, looking like I was responsible. Motherfucker! I'm still going to visit the bank to explain this to them, and explain that these were unforseeable purchases that have occurred, how I keep a paranoid (Scrooge-level) track of my money, and I even spotted the error, and that it was, indeed, not my fault.
I fucking rock.
God may have done the Goatse to me earlier, but kudos goes to my guardian angel for relaxing me enough to incite a couple tropes on the spot.
If you're curious, it's Saint Michael, the most badass archangel (most powerful in God's domain) to ever exist. When I first noticed this problem, I asked for his help (maybe not the official prayer, but more a confirmation of my word; I'll work on my life with as little help from God as possible, but I'll call upon Heaven or St. Michael to assist me when I need them most.) This was one of those times. I am not disappointed one bit. Don't believe in miracles? Well, I have an example/evidence right here that they, in fact exist, and it was answered fucking quick. Quickest miracle/response I've received yet.
I am happy now. Now I have what I really need; not what I thought I needed (and it's a hell of alot less paperwork too; thank goodness I didn't start printing yet).
I advise everyone that partook in the sale, check your bank accounts. Have you been hit by this bullshit as well?
