Steam is being a problem today. When I finally connected it keeps on disconnecting randomly. I'll look for a solution. Everything else involving the internet still works fine.

I'm sorry for the loss of a neighbor. Hopefully you aren't associated with the drug circles.

I'm having financial trouble even though my rent is currently free. I'd feel immature and guilty if I bought some beer or did something fun but expensive.

I have mice running all over the place at night.
It is annoying, especially since they seem to have NO FEAR.

There are mice here too, just they seem to live in the Big Chair in the living room.

And I sit right next to it.

HOLY SHIT QUIET DOWN YOU LITTLE BASTARDS.

They crawl up and sit on the table near me.
And stare. Then dart away and come back when I least expect it.

Oh well, nothing for tonight then as well.  I've got to help Open House at school Wednesday so we'll see what happens.

That could actually be pretty cute. Reminds me of my Grandma's old mouse problem... and the notorious Chocolate Mousse.

I'm not involved with dealers or drugs, though I've known many people who are. I didn't know this neighbor of mine personally, but it is a bit frightening that even though I left the downtown area, this thing still happens around here.

It dredged up memories from my friend too. He was a talented, funny, and genuinely good guy, and died trying to protect his friend from something similar about a year back. I never really dealt with it when it happened, since I was busy helping his brother work through his grief, and helping my ex not turn into a paranoid wreck, so I guess this has been long overdue. He was a good musician, was stupidly generous and giving, and I'd never known him to wish ill on anyone... and I miss him.

Just cleaned up a thread made of like six pages of people posting dicks. And then the people who posted them were outraged that I removed them, complaining that there was no issue that we are fascist prudes for stopping their fun.
I'm getting rather steamed about minecraft again, particularly the fan reaction to Notch showing how user created mods that add content instead of editing it is a legally gray area. That reaction being "Notch, we are disappoint. We'll leave minecraft if you take actions to keep your game from being open-source."

 I need to murder something.

Last night I came to the sudden realization that the kindly old inventor "Doc" from Fraggle Rock, and the Tourette's-suffering bartender "Doc" from Boondock Saints are the same actor. To make it worse, because the characters have the same name, I have it embedded in my subconscious that they're the same character. I can't shake this weird feeling that Doc developed Tourette's because of the Fraggles.  :o

And now I can't watch either the show or the movie without thinking about this.

Somebody hijacked my steam account. It's no longer connected to my email, and the password has been changed.

Who would even do this?
