My apologies. Spoiler'd.

Thanks.  I'll have to go, uh, look at that again once my parents are asleep.

It's really damn hard to see without a white background.

That's actually just...well, I don't understand any of the terms involved, but it's some manner of rendering a famous number. I won't tell you the name if you still want to try and solve it (Can that be solved? I don't even know that much), but following the source should lead you to the wikipedia article I pulled it from.

Bleh.  Meeting with ex tomorrow.  Don't want to go.

Then don't, damn.

For content: sad because I'm trying to keep my plantains at room temp so they'll ripen, but it's so cold in this house it probably won't matter.

Then don't, damn.

It's a favor to his younger brother, whom I really owe it to.  We've had no contact for two and a half months, anyway, so... maybe it'll be all right...

Plus, it's an excuse to have gelato, so I'm trying to make it somewhat better for myself in that way.

Does the favor need to involve him, or could you just ask his younger brother to keep him out of it for everyone's sake?

Yes, the favor is "please help my older brother being such an asshole, and if he extends himself to you, then respond positively so that perhaps he will at last be able to integrate into society, rather than finding himself alone and friendless due to his hateful behavior."

I was kidding >_>

It was the math affair and the fact that he thought I was totally crazy.  Also that he wouldn't know what to do with a girlfriend if it bit him in the nuts.

Like 70 F I guess.  Right now it feels more like 55 in here.

His best hope for integrating into society is an estranged ex?  That'll go well.

Also that he wouldn't know what to do with a girlfriend if it bit him in the nuts.

Unlike relationships, all guys actually do have an instinct for that.

Seems so.  Why?  Because his other "friends" are coworkers he spends no time with outside of work or teenagers (he's 24 and a half), and I'm the only person not related to him who's willing to both a. be nice and b. call him on his bullshit.

Meh.  It's maybe half an hour to an hour, discussing books and eating gelato.  It's not going to kill anyone.

It's not going to kill anyone.
Now don't go ruling out potential methods of giving him an epiphany. Everyone knows that Near-Death Experiances bring great re-evaluation of one's life.

In any case, I hope you're sure about all of this, and good luck to you.
