My main problem with the mental health industry is the assurance that anyone who ends up seeking psychiatric help is immediately and irreversably "broken" and needs a haze of medication to function in society. Some don't "help" so much as they "bury your real problems in pills". It doesn't help that psychology is very debated and disturbingly close to pseudoscience (due to how little we really know about the mind), especially Freudian concepts.

I think it just varies a lot with the specific phsyc, organization, and country. I've heard US ones suck abysmally.

Yeah, My shrink decided i wasn't 'regular' enough without my 6X10^2 pills every day, so he put me back on them. Cue moodswings, lethargy and hours of sitting in my room crying.

fun fact about the evenness thing, it even applies when I eat. I have to eat my food in an even manor, IE take a bite from one side, then the other, etc.

I do not think that is true at all. Many times pills are a last resort, I only started  taking pills after years of unsuccessful therapy.

My blood has gotten so goddamn thin since I moved here.  It's only like 60 degrees outside and I'm shivering!

95 degree heat and 100% humidity weather for 9 months'll do that to a body.

It's 66 here and I have the air conditioner on 0.o. I go most of winter with just a t-shirt unless I feel like actuilly playing in the snow(yes I'm 18, but I still play in the snow, it's fun)

I used to love 60 degree weather.  Favorite time, happy days.  Used to keep the bedroom window open during snowstorms for fuck's sake.  Now?  "No, don't turn the ac on, it's already cold as shit!"

Also, that shit IS at my back door.  Hooray water access.
