I've (Jokingly) told my mum I'll take her out back if she gets like that.

Personally, I think I'm in a similar boat. Go for a while when the symptoms are minimal, then once it starts to escalate it's finding a tree with a good, strong branch.

My dad's half-jokingly said I'm to shoot him if he evers get dementia or alzheimers.

Inclined that way myself, both grans went that way and I very much do not want it. If euthanasia were legal here in the UK I'd already be sorting out the paperwork for it with a lawyer in case I get early onset dementia or something.

Yesterday, vengeance killings in Syria on Alawites killed a few hundred civilians.

Today Assad loyalists have taken back up arms and are fighting the new government's army. Syria is back to civil war. At least a thousaand people were killed in the fights today.

Ah shit. Been house searching since last year June. One deal went tits up after the other for some reason or another. Finally found one that was just juicy. Well within limited budget. Nothing visibly wrong with it. Mortgage valuer arrives to the property, does a quick inspection. Nothing visibly wrong but high moisture detected with his equipment. I get a damp and timber surveyor report done and after one month of delays and rescheduling, the report determines the entire building except the ceiling is saturated with moisture. Because the lawyers have already been at work for two months there is no way I walk away from this deal without taking a hefty financial loss xD
Hard to think how much time and money now I've spent not buying a house. One step forwards two steps back. Still, at least I'm now in a position where such losses will not ruin me. But it still sucks to lose months of salary for nothing. As they say, it is a bruh moment

One week 'til the 10 year anniversary of my dad dying. Still don't know what I'll do to mark the occasion. Maybe grab some friends, or chat online with some, or something, while being sad and getting drunk.

Neighbor may have figured out I use his wifi sometimes.... I know. I know.

I'd pay him something too but it's just awkward.

At least I know he has no cap on it and it doesn't cost him extra.

I'm ... yeah.... :( My life is....

STRAIGHT to jail. No trial. No bail. You've impinged on the 11th Commandment: thou shalt not touch another's wifi. You might as well have downloaded a car. The unmitigated gall. Truly, society is crumbling, and you've proven it.

I'm a monster, but a poor unimportant monster who's not hurting anything much?

I know he has no wifi cap or extra charges. He may even know and hasn't done anything?

God I suck.

The sarcasm that I'm failing to convey is that it isn't a big deal.

edit: Although it would be polite and prudent to ask for permission.

Well, nothing is really lost if he has no cap. You're not taking anything from him. If he wanted you to stop, he'd have changed the password or told you to stop it.
