Sorry to hear that. :(
At least, though, you were there with the cat at the end to provide one last burst of love and comfort.

Went to the supermarket for the first time in a while, and the one brand of coffee I buy apparently doesn't exist anymore. Well this really is the last straw. (first world problems). /s

Wierd, take care there, sounds terrible, losing a pet is hard, especially like that.

Woe to those who make unjust laws, to those who issue oppressive decrees, to deprive the poor of their rights and withhold justice from the oppressed of my people, making widows their prey and robbing the fatherless. What will you do on the day of reckoning, when disaster comes from afar?

1) My AC still isn't fixed after 2 weeks of 90+ heat, my wife has a heart condition that can be aggravated by heat, the AC company had to show up three days after their original SECOND repair date because they forgot what damn part they were supposed to order. It's the second repair date because they installed a defective AC unit the first time. It's under warranty so we're not paying full price, but the warranty company initially tried to renege on their side of the warranty. Oh, and we need to rely on these guys for some water heater repairs, our washing machine, and the garbage disposal. That all broke last week too.

2) My father-in-law fell at his father's funeral. He won't walk for three months. We're relieved since it could have been "never" but he had to watch his the funeral from a bus.

3) At said funeral, which was at Arlington since the man was a WW2, Korea, and Vietnam vert with 40+ years of naval service under his belt, they directed my wife to the wrong funeral, so she missed her grandfather's full-honors service.

4) My job has suddenly become filled with pointless busywork meant to generate useless numbers that appease corporate bosses. I can't get my regular work done. It makes sure I can't really relax from everything else.

I'm becoming depressed again for the first time in 8 years :D

2nd day of quarantine. Still no internet, I think Eir lied about availability (again). I might go for mobile broadband after all.

On the plus side, that girl I dated a couple of times is showing a cautious interest in maybe meeting again. (Once quarantine is over I assume). So.. hmm hopefully?

I'm curious as to how a tank would evolve. Would it climb out of the primordial ooze wiggling it's track-nubs, feeding on smaller jeeps before crawling onto the shore having evolved proper treds?
My ship exploded midflight, but all the shrapnel totally landed on Alpha Centauri before anyone else did.  Bow before me world leaders!

I think I've had a multiple-day panic attack. Result of my OCD. I'm trying to get rid of my OCD.
