Sort of, sometimes the thoughts of possible war scenarios/the current pandemic/companies becoming governments can drown out the thoughts of how small we are in comparison to the universe

Iduno, I am sending you hugs. Fortunately they are just internet hugs, so I don't think there's any risk of sharing disease, but they are potent hugs nonetheless.

Also, what's the "JO motion"? All I can think of is the "jerk off motion", but that's generally supposed to be done in a slow and dismissive manner, hardly vigorous enough to hurt one's arm.

Correct. It was a long phone call.

Edit: Also, thank you for the thoughts.

Edit2: Also, I was exaggerating about the arm pain for effect.

My back pain/spasms is creeping upwards in frequency and intensity again. It's probably the tumor, back for round two. It isn't affecting my ability to walk yet, but as a trade-off it hurts a lot more over a larger area. I get scan results tomorrow.

All I have to offer is this, which probably doesn't help. Apologies in advance.

Ha. Dark humor for dark times. I approve.

Thanks for the condolences regardless.

The subject of my existential crisis (the inevitability of death) was internally resolved (eternal oblivion being pretty decent, and the (highly probable) availability of life-extending technologies within my lifetime)

Started playing Dishonored 2. And I'm sort of disappointed. Its a bit more polished than 1... but the problem is that 1 was pretty darn good. And the story and setting feel way by comparison. A pastiche of 1, if you like. Way too similar in the wrong ways. And the things that are different arent in the right way either

I know what you mean. I believe I would have enjoyed it more if I'd never played 1, though.

The new iPhone SE is the iPhone 6 form factor, not iPhone 5  :'(

(Yeah yeah, first-world problems.  I like my old smaller form factor!  I can hold out for a good while longer on my current SE though. I think it's only 3 years old  :D)

My phone has been batterying out really fast lately. Did Samsung release a new phone recently or something?
