Of course depends on how you define "good", but I'm pretty sure Exiled Kingdoms was mobile first, and that's not too bad as far as diablones go.

There's also, ah what's it called... I think it was Breach & Clear, that was good for a few hours of silliness, and while I'm not certain I'm tempted to believe that the silver system was a holdover from early days as a mobile game.

P90 bullet hose forever!

I assume they mean "good, for a mobile game" which is a real low bar.
There are actually some well made, thoughtful games out there. Just gotta sort through the crap.

Edit: For example Occidental Heroes is pretty damn fun, as is Caves.

Ah, Caves.

damn teleporting level 2 portal guardians grumble grumble

Still fun though.

It's pouring with rain (which I love) but my roof is leaking slightly (which I don't). It's not leaking badly enough that it's worth it to climb up there in this weather, but it is leaking badly enough to be inconvenient.

Also my upper back is still killing me.

Last night there were good bands, good people, I'd been in a good mood throughout the day, but for some reason I just couldn't really appreciate a damn thing. Couldn't socialise properly.
Basically just a tense slog through the evening, going through the motions of social interaction, keeping a mask of relaxed enjoyment pinned firmly over my face for the benefit of all the eyes that were no doubt scrutinising my every move.
There were even a few moments where I felt explicitly convinced that people were talking about me, about some unspecified stupid and embarrassing thing I'd done in the past which was probably fresh in the minds of everyone but me. That's always a corker. To be fair, there is probably plenty of data to back up that sort of possibility.

At least I didn't spend much money, by my standards.
I even managed to stop myself from stopping in at another of my favourite pub for a nightcap.
Anxiety's fun, alright. I hope I haven't damaged any friendships by being so bloody dull. At least I did sort of cement one recently-formed friendship, so that's something.

Anyway, sorry for rambling. I dunno if this even made sense. Now, it's 7am - time to sleep off this hangover that's threatening to develop.
Edit: and now I tried to quickly add in a couple of words and ended up getting hit with the edited tag. Oh, it never ends. >.>

Once something thrown by the wind hit my roof and left a ~8cm hole in it, but it was late and I was sleepy, so I took a umbrella, stuck through the hole and opened it. Reduce the problem enough for me to ignore it while I slept.

Yeah, nah. That's not how that works. If a friend is being chill or too quiet friends don't tend to get upset about that. What upsets people is when you're overly friendly, but to everyone except them.

Started looking at the first homeworks for the courses this semester, and I don't know how to answer most of the questions, non in one of them, I know that it would probably make more sense with reading and other things, but I still fear this degree isn't for me which scares me not only because sunk cost fallacy.

I'm not sure sunk cost fallacy applies in that sense to a degree.

Originally, you were going to invest 3 years of your life into getting a degree. If you get 2 years into it, then the future-costs is only one year, whereas if you drop out and start another one, that new one will cost 3 years. You also don't have any guarantee that you won't get to the same point in the new degree and have the same problem.

The best thing, if you're already quite far through a degree is to see if you can tweak your subjects or electives more to your liking.

If you're 2 years into a degree and realise that you don't have what it takes/don't want to work in a related field, even though you might just about pull through the degree itself, then continuing just to have some paper to show for the three years of your time instead of nothing for two - is very much the sunken cost fallacy.

Well I tend to disagree. The future-costs are one year vs three years to do another degree. But if you complete one degree then you can wheedle into getting into other graduate programs. Or you have Ken Levine who got a film degree then wrangled a job a Looking Glass Studios and made Thief / System Shock 2 and then Bioshock. Guy coulda dropped out of film school if he wanted to make games, but they probably looked at his background and decide they wanted someone like that.

A degree that you don't really want for one year's tuition is competitive with a degree you want more for three year's tuition, because you've already indicated to yourself that you're the type who might change their mind about what they want, anyway. After all, you wanted that first degree at the time.

Also if you spend two years and then just drop out then this is going to look really bad on your resume. Holes in your resume aren't appealing to employers, so you can honestly say you studied then dropped out, or you can omit the failed degree. Either way, this isn't going to have employers lining up at your door.

I suppose that depends on the particulars of the situation. If one's in a directionless period of their life, not really knowing what they want, or having any sort of a plan for the future - then getting any number of momentarily meaningless qualifications might be of higher value than just dropping out and idling.
If, however, one has just matured to a realisation that what they want to do is completely unrelated to their current educational path, then there's no point in continuing. Any hit to the quality of their resume they might suffer won't matter if they're going to excel at their new vocation.

I do love the subject I do the degree in, or at least I think so, it just that I am not sure if I'm actually good at it.
