Wow...
Just... Wow.
You really, really, really like math.

I mean, Really.

... You figured it out!  Shock!  Awe!

Holy crap you're good at that.  Sing it girl, sing those matrices.

Why, thank you!  I do try ~

Stuff

Well, self-knowledge is the first important step, isn't it?  That is a lot of hard work for anyone, and you definitely can't say anything was really just handed to you.  You've tried really hard.  Maybe you haven't had to struggle as much as others have, but you've struggled, and that's worth something.  Maybe you haven't found the right answers to your particular dilemmas, but you're trying--and that's important, isn't it?

Just keep on going.  Keep on looking for those opportunities you need.  It's not much longer, as you said, and then you'll have a new sort of life to explore.  Believe in the me who believes in you :I

And then this happens, and everyone cries.

Goddammit, there I got disrupting the thread with my bullshit when Vector drops the best link I've read in a long time.  I know just enough about higher math to get all the puns, I feel so smart.

Also, what the Hell was that, and what mad mathematician thought it up?

Believe in the me who believes in you :I

I fear you're messing with references outside of your comprehension now.

Yeah, I keep telling myself that.  I've been telling myself that for the better part of six years.  It hasn't exactly worked yet.  But I suppose that's where new answers are supposed to come in.

You think I wouldn't put myself in Kamina's shoes?  No, I went there.

Also, as far as the story goes... I have no idea where it came from.  Apparently it's one of those things that just happened spontaneously at UC Berkeley.

This, on the other hand... yes, there is an a capella group that does mostly romantic math music.  No, I don't know why.  Yes, it is ridiculous.

Like the bastard child of Esperanto and Hupa, perhaps, but ... yes, something along those lines =)

Thank you!  I hope it will help to inspire my students, rather than just confusing them hopelessly.

Maybe both >_>

If you want to inspire your students, get as many types of media abstract math-ified as you can. Then they'll think your some unhinged psycopath who will kill them for not understanding your lessons.

Play a schoolhouse-rock video first day of class. Watch the reactions. LYAO.

If I was a math teacher, on the day I taught Pi, students would walk in and I would just flip off the lights and roll film of the movie "Pi."

When it was over I'd go to the front of the class and be like "Do you understand how important Pi is now? DO YOU?!!?!?!?!"

Reading an article on the speech that was prepared in case the Apollo astronauts were stranded on the Moon. Damn that would have been a depressing speech.
Quote
Fate has ordained that the men who went to the moon to explore in peace will stay on the moon to rest in peace

These brave men, Neil Armstrong and Edwin Aldrin, know that there is
no hope for their recovery. But they also know that there is hope for
    mankind in their sacrifice.

These two men are laying down their lives in mankind’s most noble goal: the search for truth and understanding.

They will be mourned by their families and friends; they will be
    mourned by the nation; they will be mourned by the people of the world;
they will be mourned by a Mother Earth that dared send two of her sons
    into the unknown
