So, about a week ago my sisters came to visit, one of which has a serious issue with smoking.

In her incessant drive to partake of the nicotine stick, she kept leaving the door open as she went out to do so.  Apparently, one of the numerous times this happened, she let one of my cats out.

Said cat had been missing for a week.  I found the cat earlier this afternoon, half-dead.

I took her back in, gave her food and water and a bath (because the thing was grossly filthy with old motor oil and dirt-- Apparently she had been hiding underneath cars).  Poor thing is exhibiting symptoms of a lower spinal injury, but I can find no traces of one on her body.

She was extremely thin and dehydrated, so I am hoping it is due to lack of nutritional intake that that she will get better... But...

She CAN move her rear legs, but not very well.  She will try to get up and walk, but will promptly fall over with a plop.

(Sigh)

I checked, and one of my fellow superheros DID go get Kurt Russel down from his tree, I just missed it.
