Was showing my buddy Omegle today, when a discussion about anonymity, the internet, and how people behave came up. I was trying to say that, even in a place like Omegle, people can have some decent conversations with people, whom they'd never meet in person.... but every attempt, and I mean EVERY attempt to strike up a conversation got to sexual overtures within a few lines. It didn't go a long way to proving my argument.

Heh... I did have some fun after a bit though, and demonstrated another thing Anonymity is good for:

My life consists entirely of torture. And I mean entirely. I don't remember anything else.
And I can't commit suicide.

I just feel like pointing this out because I can't do anything about it. At the very least I can whine and make people hate me more than they already do.

Why the hell can't you commit suicide?
And what is so torturous about your life?No friends, dead family or something along those lines?

My life consists entirely of torture.
No it doesn't. I don't care what the problem is, you aren't THAT bad off... Well, unless it's this:
Are you glued to a mime with no access to sharp things?

And I can't commit suicide.
Yes you can. It's a stupid idea though.

CUT MY LIFE INTO PIECES, THIS IS MY LAST RESORT

But yeah, if you can't commit suicide then there is something in your life worth staying for. Something worth enduring through the pain. Find it and nurture it. Even if it is something as iffy as "I don't want to make my parents sad, but they just piss me off so much" just develop it and make things good for them. Eventually you'll find your legs, wherever they are.

And even if you won't listen to any of that, even if you are fully and utterly convinced everyone around you will hate you forever and your life will only consist of pain, even if all of the above is somehow true: You still have the oppertunity to be a better person with your life. If you really want those who hate you to hate you more, then be a better person than they could ever hope to be in their miserable lives.

It's more along the lines of not having control over my own actions, actually. Sort of an "and I must scream" situation.

I think your comments in the happy thread negate this statement.

Now go make some cupcakes and cheer up, already.
